This gives an interesting 'manly' touch to this place that has art on the walls and creative atmosphere. The customers are families from the neighbourhood but surprisingly many travel from Wellington. Once you get to know this place you want to come back. The coffee (Ripe) is good and food is also tasty and fresh. Groudup is a good destination for a little trip to indulge in food and coffee with friends or just pleasantly alone.

Coffee was good and strong and well made. Benny was served on a giant hashbrown wedge which was really interesting. However, the entire thing sat heavy in my belly like a brick the entire day. Husband enjoyed his mince on toast. The serving was quite generous and he all but licked his plate clean. Our friends got a seasonal special croissant sandwich as well as their bibimbap plate, and considering they spent the entire time eating and not saying anything I would consider that a resounding "yes this is amazing". They also had an amazing raspberry matcha that was so unbelievably creamy and delicious, I highly recommend trying it with oat milk if that fits your fancy. We were visiting from the US, and the prices I would say are comparable to a First Watch. Reasonable for a nice brunch when you're trying something out in a new city.
