Migi was a great choice. I love that they have a lunch menu every single day from 11-3pm. The lunch menu is often only during the week and doesn't include the weekend but this one sure does. They have bento box options, hibachi options, as well as sushi and sashimi specials. I actually ordered a signature roll not included on the lunch menu. My husband did order from the lunch menu chicken and steak hibachi. This included miso soup and salad and choice of fried rice or noodles. My roll, the valentine roll was very good. I asked to have mango sauce instead of spicy mayo and that was fine and there was no additional fee. Our service was excellent and reliable and helpful. While this is a very expensive dining experience it is well worth it. This is not the same as omakase which should be noted. I knew going in I would be trying some things I never had before and I was excited for that. Each course is thoughtfully curated. They have beer, wine and sake as well. I decided to order sake instead of doing the tasting because the sake tasting is usually 5 glasses. I felt that the sake is great to pair with the meal. Presentation and craft was there and everyone on the staff was great. I was even given a happy birthday glass of champagne at the end of our experience which was so sweet. Food wise I loved the experience and I would do it again because the menu is seasonal you can expect something new every few months. The decor and style of the Kaiseki room is very nice and I love the nice wood and clean lines. My favorit things about the dinner would be the uni sauce (ai can not remember the exact name). They paired it with several courses and it was amazing. The wagyu course was great as well and it was a decent amount (more than what you get in an omakase). The dessert course was fantastic. I am so happy I got to taste the Crown Melon. That's my first time having it and I love melons of any type, but this was such a pleasant surprise because I actually don't really care for desserts. This is not sushi and although there usually are no rolls we did have 2 rolls served with 4 nigiri as the nigiri course and they were all fantastic. I would highly recommend Yūgen.

Top grade Service, excellent presentation, top quality food, interesting and creative dishes. From the beginning to the end, it was served with style, care, quality and real Japanese setting. We shared a sake pairing which was also excellent. Given the low number of people they can serve at once, the quality goes up. Very pleased and very impressed. Will definitely be back
