I had an appointment scheduled for July 26th, and the clinic was closed without any prior notice. No one called me or informed me that it had been canceled. I showed up and found the place closed. This shows a total lack of respect for patients' time and very poor professionalism. It's not the first time they've been careless like this. This is the best dentist office I have been. Doctor cao is a very good doctor, always chooses the best treatments. I had a lot of work tobe fixed but since I was traumatized as a child I was super scared of a dentist. The gentilness,patience of the doctor I was able to fix my cavities. I also want to point out Omar Diaz for being an incredible dental assistant he takes x-rays very gentle and scans ready good. Was looking for a new dentist so I made an appointment with Kaizen after reading the positive reviews. Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience overall. The staff was fine - however - when I met the dentist that worked on my teeth, I felt like just a number to this place. Being a new patient I expected a simple greeting such as [Hello my name is Doctor X, and what can I do for you today?]. Instead, the dentist did not introduce herself at all and just said to me plainly that I needed new fillings because they were "rotted" out. First, I had no idea if she was the doctor or not and second I had fillings done less than 3 years before and my previous dentist did not mention anything about new fillings. Nevertheless I went ahead and replaced them reluctantly. Afterward when I looked at a photo of Dr Cao in the lobby, I realized the dentist that worked on my teeth was NOT Dr Cao, but maybe a partner dentist? I couldn't tell since the dentist that worked on my teeth wore a mask. My advice to the dentists - please work on your customer communication skills and identify new patients. A simple greeting - [Hello nice to meet you, I'm Dr X, how can I help you today?] - makes a huge difference. Most likely I will not return to have dental work here. read more

This place is terrible. I had already come a year ago and said I wasn't going to come back, but the receptionist insisted I come back but I regret coming back, my appointment was at 2:30 pm and I arrived at 2:10 pm and it was 2:55 pm and they wouldn't see me, they saw me at 3:00 pm, they did the x-rays, they lasted 15 minutes and they left me for 45 minutes in the review chair until I got upset and called the receptionist. I told her I needed to be seen. Then the doctor said she would examine me in 10 minutes. She is not a professional, she only came to charge the insurance for the x-rays, and so I couldn't leave until she wanted to see me. Very bad service read more

Please be advised that even though someone may appear to know what they are doing doesn't mean they've done good work. I developed an infection due to dentist doing crowns but not sealing them properly. Mind you, you'll never know until you go to a different dentist which is unfortunate. My reasons to switch prior to this knowledge was due to attempting to charge me for out of pocket lab fees for a crown without submitting through my insurance first which no dentist is suppose to do when they are contracted. I have never in my life been comfortable at a dentist's office; that is, until I became a patient at Kaizen Dental almost a year ago. Everyone here is so patient, helpful, and good at explaining procedures. I've gotten fillings, braces, wisdom teeth extractions, and just recently an implant all at Kaizen. The implant (which sounded like the worst part to me) was surprisingly quick and 100% painless. Seriously. I was in and out of the office that day in 35 minutes and the healing process has been perfectly fine, with just a tiny bit of soreness for the first 5ish days. Such a professional service, Dr.Cao walked me through my dental plan very detail. From there she discuss together with me to find the best plan to get best treatments for my teeth. I visited Dr. Coa about 3 weeks ago, my daughters and I both had a great experience. When scheduling their appointments (Paola) was very friendly and professional she was able to quickly verify my insurance, schedule a date and she even called me the day before to verify my appointment. Upon arrival we didnt have to wait long. As usual with every office initial paperwork was filled out, once completed my first daughter was immediately called for her XRAYS and the next followed. We were guided through the whole process and their treatment plans in detail, everything was throughly explained and they were open to answer my questions. Dr. Coa took the time to make sure my girls who are 8 and 10 years old were comfortable and understood the procedure as well. Once their treatments were done Dr. Coa gave them a little tooth-goodie bag that came with a toothbrush and toothpaste, we scheduled our 6 month check up and I appriciated Dr. Coa providing me with a file containing the description of the treatment my daughters received.
