From making an appointment to my son's 1st visit, everything was amazing. Staff were great. X-ray technician did wonderful with my 4 y/o. She was engaging and reassuring when taking his x-rays. The technician that did his cleaning was also very child friendly, engaging in conversation with him and being patient as he moved a bit, allowing him to take short breaks to ease his anxiousness. Antonia Segura stated that the dentist did not honor his oath; he wanted to extract teeth that didn't need to be removed and gave her four penicillin pills to take one hour before the procedure but she didn't take it because it was too much, she said. they were 500 mg Amoxicillin--an excessive dose--so she refused. Consequently, Ms. Antonia Segura does not recommend this dentist. Also Mrs. Antonia Segura stated that She was told to leave or the police will be called; She is an 85 year old Lady and it was unfair for Her to be treated that way. read more

This office is always over booking appointments, never on time for anything and staff always has the same answer, "we're falling a lil behind" it never fails. They charge cash for certain appointments and definitely need to be reported for that to the insurance companies. They always want to bill things that aren't needed. They want more patients to bill but the quality and professionalism is definitely not in this office. If you want to wait 1-2hr to be seen then this will work for you. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! Brought my daughter here and got treatment for her braces, horrible experience! They took the braces off too early, used cheap glue for her expander, and proceeded to charge us for their mistakes. The workers need better attitudes, every time you enter it feels like they hate the thought of patients. My daughter where's her retainer and her teeth are not the result they promised. I took my other daughter here as well for non ortho reasons, they did a terrible job. They gave her a filling for a cavity, it took two years for the sensitivity to disperse. Terrible place!! Don't ever come here! I came here for a root canal treatment to prepare my tooth for a crown. Dr Chebi failed to perform at a standard level of care. He butchered my tooth. What was supposed to take about an hour took over 2 hours of drilling and X-rays over and over and over again. Needless to say he drill past the pulpa floor resulting in me having to have my tooth extracted. When confronting him for the malpractice he just kept saying that I had signed the Consent to Treat form. Very unprofessional. Yeah I consented to treatment not to have my tooth butchered. When I attempted to reschedule six months later, I was incorrectly informed that the procedure had already been performed. My attempts to clarify the situation with the medical office were met with disrespect and unprofessionalism from the receptionist, who lied to me and hung up on me repeatedly. I sought to speak with the office manager but was treated unprofessionally. I chose to visit the office to address this individual due to my escalating frustration and upset regarding the disrespect I've endured and the unreturned calls spanning weeks. The primary representative at the front desk had hung up on me and provided false information, claiming the person I sought was absent, which proved to be untrue upon my arrival. This led to a raised tone and a mirroring of the disrespect I had faced.I was advised to calm down or risk having the authorities called. I consented to their doing so, assured of my innocence. I am reciprocating the individual's behavior, mirroring the disrespect they showed me during our phone call. Two days ago, I phoned the office and spoke with the same employee who continued to display disrespect. I chose to record our subsequent conversation to provide evidence of the ongoing issue. When I mentioned the recording to the office manager, they appeared displeased and 2 days later they told me that they would no longer serve me due to my actions. I find this response remarkable, as I believe I am the victim in this situation. The office's handling of potential fraud and employee disrespect raises concerns about their commitment to client care and professional environment management. The manager's failure to address these issues during our previous conversation is notable. I hope that either the main owner or the Doctor will read this review, as I intend to escalate this matter to a higher authority and file a formal complaint with the medical board. Ok, so i can not speak for others and thier experiences but i have been to the office a few times now and i do not see any problems or rudeness from anyone at all...Everyone i have had contact with has been nice and respectful...I did not have to wait a long period of time like others claim, maybe a few mins of waiting is all for me and that is completely normal anyway, there is no place that takes you the second your appointment begins, it does not work like that, people must have common sense and know that and if you don't then you should try working in that field if you can not understand.. The xray room is not open as some people on here claim. it does have a door way that you can see in, yes some people can see from certain angles of the room, but you are there to get worked on, suck it up and get it over with like the rest of us or else choose another office, simple as that....So, ill be honest i think the comments of people are taken to another level and it's honestly not as bad as some people make of it....Again if you don't like it there, go somewhere else..... read more

Front desk was unfriendly but whatever - they were easy to ignore so not a big deal. Was scheduled an appointment for my son's extraction right at opening time .. got there on time and opening worker was late so we stood outside for a bit. No greeting when they did finally arrive and when we got in, waiting room filled up very quickly with only one assistant in the back. Seems like they take on more than they could handle. Even though we were the first ones there, it took over an hour for his work to actually begin because whoever was performing his extraction was late. Never even met who was performing his extraction so that should've already been a red flag on our first appointment. After care wasn't even explained clearly by front desk or assistant or whoever she was so I just resorted to Google & another dentist once procedure was done lol. This was my second visit to this office and I could not be more disappointed. I scheduled an appointment for an x-ray and teeth cleaning for Friday, March 6, at 4:40 p.m. I received a text reminder on Thursday, March 5 to confirm my appointment at 4:40, which I really liked! I arrived to my appointment at 4:24 and signed in. I waited until 4:45 when I was called to begin my X-rays. A few moments later, I was taken to the back where the dental hygienist greeted me and informed me that she would be doing my teeth cleaning for me. She began the teeth cleaning with the topical application of flouride. This immediately raised a huge red flag for me since in my previous experiences, a scaling/cleaning in between the teeth is done first. I didn't say anything at first, assuming that it would be done after the flouride application. After about 10 minutes, the hygienist stood up and told me "the doctor will be with you shortly." Before the hygienist left, I asked her if she would be cleaning in between my teeth. Her response was "oh no, that's part of a deep cleaning." At this point, I was very concerned that a proper dental cleaning was not being done. LOTS of time passed until I was seen by the dentist AT 6:20!!! MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 4:40, FOR A X-RAY AND TEETH CLEANING!! He looked into my mouth for a total of 5 seconds and recommended a deep cleaning. Then, he opened my x-rays for a brief moment at the computer in front of me and closed them. He left and did not return. He did not explain how my teeth looked in the x-rays. When I asked the hygienist about completing the standard teeth cleaning that I was currently there for, she disregarded me and told me that the doctor was suggesting a deep cleaning. She left to get a quote with my insurance, and returned. When she returned, at 6:30, she began putting gloves on and said she was going to do my cleaning. I asked her which cleaning she was going to do (standard or deep). She responded with the deep cleaning, in a very rude tone. I proceeded to ask the price. In a very rude way, she responded "no cost." I then asked her how long the deep cleaning would take since it was WAY past closing time. I didn't want the cleaning to be rushed just since she wanted to go home. She said it depended on the amount of tartar, but that it could take up to 30 minutes. In my experience, deep cleanings take up to 45-60 minutes for a good job! I immediately got up and told her I would need to reschedule. How ridiculous to arrive to a dental appointment on time and to stay past closing for such a lazy and incomplete teeth cleaning. 2 HOURS FOR FLOURIDE! AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN! I will be filing a formal complaint of my experience and the so called "teeth cleaning" they provided with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs. read more

Like come on , he wasn't being defiant and they would not allow me to be in the room with my son . When I told them I was not okay with it, the office manager very rudely said that the Dr. Did not feel comfortable working with my child then . Which was hilarious since she did not even speak to the Dr. They are very horrible with kids and impatient. Yet I'm glad that with this horrible experience I found a new dental office. The Brace Place in Bellflower is wonderful . It's great with kids , they have never strapped my child and he now has braces. Office staff is great and Dr.Yoon is wonderful. I received an email from Yelp asking if I recommend this place. OF COURSE NOT. This place is the worse dental office I have been to in my life. I wrote a review on the bad services they did to my husband, and months after I went back to get medical record from them and the receptionist told me if I could please delete my review. They did sooo much harm to my husband during his treatment that people need to know this place is horrible and not just with patient care but with patient privacy and patient info. They talk about your treatment in front of others and when you leave they talk bad about you in front of others too. I was going there for regular dental work and had no complaints. I took my 3 boys for dental work and my oldest boy had some cavities that needed fillings. My son told the staff he felt a whole and they dissmissed his concerns until I took him back explaining he can't eat or drink with out pain.. Once they looked in his mouth they said it was a new cavity after 2days getting the fillings done.. One staff owned up to the mistake stating they had forgot to fill a cavity and apologize. The other staff wanted to argue and not want to be held accountable. My youngest goes there for Ortho and since day one the staff and Dr are rude and talks to you like you're an uneducated animal.. They start with a game plan when signing a contract for braces then they want to change the plan and charge you for every thing service even if it's their mistake. So unprofessional and rude. If you ask a question they answer with "I don't know" or " I'm not sure". Nothing is confidential. The staff gives referrals or messages to family members that is receiving services there and expect the family member to relate the messages or paper work to you. If I could get a refund or be able to transfer my son's Ortho services else where I definitely would! read more

WARNING..... this is going to be a long review lol Sooooo this place is a joke! just left here and couldn't wait to write my review let me start by saying that I sort of blame myself because I didn't pick my own provider and was assigned this laughable establishment. If I were you I would steer clear of this place... matter fact run! I knew from get go upon walking into this establishment that something wasn't right. Workers were joking in front playing pokemon go and had their kids running around behind the work station. As the receptionist lady is telling me to fill out forms her son probably about 7 or 8 is calling "mom, mom, MOM! I want to go play pokemon go." Should've took this as a red flag and walked out that door but nope, I dropped the ball on that one. When they called me in for X-rays, the area they have basically is a little indentation in from the waiting room and ppl can see you from the waiting room... can you say HIPPA violation??? Another complaint.... once they take you into the back room for your procedure.. well there isn't rooms. it is just one big room with stations. so if you look to your left right and behind you, you can see other ppl getting their work done. Another HIPPA VIOLATION!!!! There is only ONE dentist... Dr Chebbi btw so expect long wait time. As I was sitting there, same guy who took my X-rays says he's going to do my cleaning... ok... so starts on my cleaning he polishes my teeth with the buffer thing which is usually what they end with but ok, i didn't say anything. Once he was done with the polish, he tells me ok you're done.... WAIT WHAT!?!?! what kind of cleaning is that? I've never had a cleaning where they didn't go between my teeth and didn't whats the word... UM CLEAN them! So I address my concern and he tells me oh I have to wait for the Dr. So Dr Chebbi comes by doesn't even introduce himself and just plops down and starts looking at my teeth. I verbalize my concerns about my teeth cleaning and he tells me thats how they do it here and that after he exams my teeth he'll decide if I'll need additional work.... ok.... how are you going to decide what I get done on my teeth first of all. second of all I came in for a deep cleaning and irrigation which my insurance covers by the way, I get them every year for the I don't know how many years... and it wasn't done. He tells me that I need deeper cleaning that requires anesthesia.... and that his receptionist is going to come talk to me... and goes to the chair next to me to work on someone else teeth. Receptionist comes and tells me that the deep gum cleaning is going to be an additional $200 and I have a cavity so the filling is going to be another $130. I just went to my other dentist 6 months ago and according to him my teeth are fine, and I didn't need any deep deep cleaning where you go under my gums. so you're telling me that in six months I have that much build up? and I'm an avid flosser, brusher, and waterpik user? COME ON!!! who are you trying to pull a fast one on? Dr asks me how old I am... um I don't think that matters but since I do look young I guess you're trying to rip me off. I call my insurance and they confirm that I'm covered for deep cleaning as well as a basic irrigation. but of course this place is trying to do extra stuff on me so they can get extra money.... Unprofessional receptionists talk bad about you right in front of your face.

The staff here is somewhat nice, but the waiting time sucks. They literally take about an hour to see each patient. It's as if they schedule many people for the same appointment time which is not alright. They called in patients before me and when I asked they said 'she's here for something so simple' even though I was there way earlier. Please save yourself the time from coming here, there is way better places out there than this. Keep in mind that when you bring children, the parent cannot be in the back room with them, they must stay in the waiting room when getting a procedure done UPDATE: I would just like to point out that the four people that thought this review was funny were the people that work in this establishment, this just goes to show how seriously they take customer service. read more

I have been coming here for years and the staff was great but I had a really bad encounter with the orthodontist. It was time for me to get my braces remove and one of the workers took them off. He was a very sweet old man and was telling me if it would hurt to let him know. He was very gentle and when he had finished the orthodontist came to check on my teeth. I don't know if he was having a bad day or whatever but he was taking his anger on me. He yelled at the man saying you didn't even take all the glue off and the man was like I'm sorry. While working on my teeth he was being so careless and jamming the tools on my teeth which was causing me pain. When I told him it was hurting me he was like well that's what happens when it's not done right and to sit still but was raising his voice. It was hurting me so I cried and he did not care whatsoever. I felt so bad for the old man but the orthodontist was so unprofessional!!!! We came back to see the dentist and my daughter had some work done. The only thing that I didn't like was that I couldn't be there to hold my daughter's hand because those rooms are too small. Wait time was a huge concern because of previous experience waiting 2+ hours at previous dentist office; but so far there has been no to little wait! Everyone is nice and friendly which makes the visits go faster and pleasant. Alicia is amazing! She does great work and takes time to know you and really makes you feel comfortable. I was surprised that she remembered me and asked about me school and how things went since last appointment. It felt nice to know that she was actually listening and not just the usual short interactions you typically have. I came here and he told me that my tooth was done and that he wanted to extra it and give me braces haha.. just writing this because I went to 2 other clinics and they told me my tooth can be saved. Staff is "nice" but be careful because they are big rip-offs..they will tell you your insurance or medi- cal won't cover certain procedures when they actually do. So make sure you call your insurance before taking their word. Also, if you like to wait over an hour to be seen even if you have an appointment, this is the place for you. Oh, and it's usually crowded with nowhere to sit. The x-ray room is visible to everyone in the waiting room and also the procedure area is all one open space..except for the special rooms they have for kids...these have doors so you won't hear your kid screaming..lol read more

I have been a patient for 10 yrs, not only do I come here but my 4 yr old daughter and ny husband as well.. yes there is a little time waiting but nothing out of the normal.. Is worth every minute I wait! The Dr's always do everything to give their best and they do! I have gotten root canal done, a bridge and crowns and I have never had any problem!!! The staff are super nice and very welcoming! I truly trust this clinic for all dental work! My daughter loves coming every 6 months for her check up! She loves Dr. Nina she always makes my daughter feel as comfortable as she can so my daughter wont be scared of the dentist since alot of kids get scared lol but my daughter loved coming here they are very gentle with every procedure they do whether is for my daughter or for my self or my husband!!! read more
