I first called months ago to schedule an appointment and was given such a hard time that I eventually gave up out of frustration. Later, my daughter tried calling on my behalf and experienced the exact same thing , she even warned me, saying "Mom, she has terrible reviews." Unfortunately, those reviews were 100% accurate. Recently, I was diagnosed with pneumonia and was advised to contact my primary doctor. When I called again, the first woman who answered didn't understand me and immediately transferred me. For the record, they don't even answer the phone professionally! The second woman picked up and said, "What do you need?" no greeting, nothing. I told her I needed an appointment, and she asked if I was a new patient. After I explained my pneumonia situation, she said, "Oh yes, okay," and then told me, "Call me tomorrow, maybe I can fit you in." Maybe? Are you serious? That level of dismissiveness, lack of compassion, and unprofessionalism is unbelievable. This office clearly doesn't care about patients or proper service. Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish! I will definitely be changing doctors!

He proves that a doctor's visit doesn't need to be hours long to be thorough, thoughtful, detailed, effective, and--most importantly--to make you feel genuinely seen and heard. He is incredibly prompt and respectful of your time, while somehow never making the appointment feel rushed. He's kind, funny, caring, attentive, and has a way of immediately putting your mind at ease. I left feeling completely confident that my health is in very good hands. I'm newly postpartum, and he has been wonderful in helping me navigate the reins of this new chapter and come up with a plan for a truly healthy future so I can be my best self for my baby. He was incredibly thorough, provided me with excellent referrals, and made the entire process so seamless. I was able to have my labs done immediately after my appointment, received the results that same day, and he had already reviewed and addressed them with me. That kind of attentiveness and follow-through is so appreciated and, unfortunately, not something you find everywhere. He even went the extra mile discussing medication options and copays with me, actively trying to find the most affordable choices--definitely not something most PCPs go out of their way to do. My daughter told me that she overheard two medical assistants or nurses discussing her symptoms with Manuel Martinez, a provider at this clinic, and referring to her as "extra." What makes this even more disturbing is that the provider did not step in or stop them. It is heartbreaking and infuriating to know that my daughter's health concerns were discussed in a way that made her feel mocked and disrespected. Patients go to healthcare providers because they need help and deserve to feel safe, heard, and taken seriously--not judged or made fun of for their symptoms. As a mother, I expect medical professionals to show compassion and respect, especially when caring for young patients.
