So let me say--OMGosh--These are NICE! .Wailea Point Village Condos are nestled btwn the Fairmont Hotel and the Grand Wailea Hotel. (more about that later) You can walk down towards beach path/beaches (unlocked gate, and a shower right inside the gate). The GREAT beach path that is only 3.5 miles (round trip). We ran it every morning. Random people can't just walk in, as they seem to monitor the beach gate & someone actually drove up one time to ask me (in a very nice way) "how" I like my visit and what condo I was staying in. Was kind of annoyed, but at least I know, it's SAFE. Has a very nice gym- you might have to turn on AC (remote on wall by far door) and fans (remote by front door), if you are the only one in there, like us. Though, you need to be guest at WPV to use. TAN TIME--if you walk to beach--there is a grass short-cut you can take, ask any of the grounds keepers where it is- (Fairmont side), you can take your towels and lay out with the hotel guests on the same beach. If you have an "WPV owners card", just go to the little pool circle building & show it to them. They'll set up a chair and umbrella for you. Tip the cabana boys. They gotta eat, too. Or if you wake up late, like us, just walk up to an empty chair/umbrella and casually set up camp. Bring white towels to "blend" in. :) POOL TIME- Usually empty. There is a kiddie pool, and a lap pool, for you swimmer types. You'll find the ping pong tables over there, too.

My most recent purchase there was a floor lamp with ceramic pole. I had to replace the lamp socket on it but still a good deal. That's probably why it was donated. Anyway, they usually have a good assortment of light fixtures, tables, chairs and small appliances. The sort of stuff that people upgrade from time to time. They also are a good source of building materials that are left over from jobs the contractors finish. It's hit or miss whether you find the type or quantity of materials you need, but it's still a good place to check if you're about to start a project. We were there recently, to drop off a couple boxes of floor tile and some used copper tubing. I hope someone can use it. There's a small parking lot beside the building. Be really careful there because you might not have much time to react when someone backs out without looking. I had to use my horn, first time in years!

Everything looked fine when I checked in, but after my first night I woke up with my entire back covered in painful, swollen bites. I had never experienced bed bugs before, so at first I didn't understand what was happening. The second night, I slept in the living room with different pillows, hoping it was just an allergy. Instead, I woke up in the middle of the night from intense burning and pain. The bites spread to my arms, legs, face, stomach, hands -- everywhere. The swelling and irritation were severe and extremely painful. I could not sleep at all. I messaged the owners immediately in the middle of the night telling them I couldn't stay there anymore. They only replied the next morning asking for "proof." I sent photos showing my skin covered in huge swollen red bites, but they answered very slowly and didn't offer any help. They told me they had no other unit to move me to and offered only a refund for the remaining days. Considering the state I was in, this was unacceptable. They didn't truly take me seriously until Pest Control arrived. When the Pest Control workers saw my skin, they were visibly shocked, and they confirmed bed bugs in the bed. Only after their confirmation did the owners agree to issue a full refund. Despite how severe my situation was, there was no apology, no sympathy, no support, not even a phone call. Instead, they told me that I had to leave immediately and that I would only receive the refund once I checked out. I explained that I needed time to wash my belongings so I wouldn't take their bed bugs with me. I had to throw away multiple personal items and urgently book another place to stay. The following days of my trip were ruined. I spent 5-6 days treating painful, swollen bites that made it almost impossible to sleep. What was supposed to be my long-awaited vacation turned into stress, pain, and unexpected expenses -- all because of an infestation that clearly didn't start overnight. The number of bites I received makes it obvious that this issue was ongoing for a long time and not properly addressed. Bed bugs do not appear in such quantities in just a day or two. This tells me the unit hadn't been properly cleaned or treated for months. If you don't want your vacation ruined, your body covered in painful bites, and your health and belongings put at risk, avoid this unit and be extremely careful with this property. The way the owners handled (or rather ignored) the situation was completely unacceptable.

We dropped our luggage off in the morning and came back after dinner to shower and get dressed for our flight out. What an amazing place. Zack was so great to work with and helped us out so much. We have been long time clients of Mountain Slope Water having installed our first system over 20…read moreyears ago. It was time to do maintenance and check our Reverse Osmosis system. Darrell was the technician, and he was excellent: punctual, so courteous and professional wearing his mask and removing his shoes, and carefully examining our system. Because of its age, he showed me cracks and breaks in some of the cartridges and gently told me that we should consider a new replacement system. Darrell was kind in not wanting to appear he was "selling" something. Darrell carefully checked our water pressure, and planned to return the next day to install the new RO system which we felt was very reasonably priced. He said he would "build the system" at Mountain Slope the day before installing it, to make sure it was working well. Darrell gave us a courtesy call before he came, and was efficient and skillful, meticulously checking the system for any leaks, and assure it was functioning perfectly. Also he went over the entire system with me on how it worked and how to shut it off. He carefully reconnected it to our refrigerator so it could make ice with the purified water. All in all, we were very pleased with the quality of Mountain Slope's system and with Darrell. We would enthusiastically recommend this fine company to anyone needing a water purification system.
