We had a potential mold issue at our house at one of the most inconvenient times in our lives. After contacting our homebuilder, they put us in touch with Kade Restoration, who they highly recommended and have an ongoing partnership with. Over the course of the next several weeks, we worked with a number of employees from Kade, who were overall great to work with. Kevin and two other men initially came out to assess moisture levels, evaluate the area and eventually put up barriers to remediate the potential growth source. They did an excellent job, although we were somewhat disgusted by the fact that one of their employees later moved a large fan that had been running for a few days to our bedroom to be cleaned. I did bring this to their attention and they assured me that the fan didn't track any particles, but I still didn't understand the rationale behind doing this. Also, just be aware that having commercial fans blasting for consecutive days in a row can potentially rack up quite an energy bill that you won't be reimbursed for. After the remediation, Kade then sent out Miguel to do some general contracting work. He was really nice and kept us well-informed. However, the assistant he brought to help him out wasn't quite as good and ended up putting up a wall noticeably crooked. Initially, they tried to justify the fact that it really couldn't have been put on more straight, but after I got in touch with the project manager, Mark, they came back out a few days later to re-do the job and it turned out great! Honestly, had it not been for Mark being such a responsive, honest and caring project manager, I may have given Kade a different rating. I have been in the construction and maintenance industry for many years and seen my fair share of contractors - both the good and bad. As noted above, there were definitely some issues, considering the first team also put down this sticky tape on our stairs to cover our carpet since they wanted to wear shoes inside the house and we don't wear shoes inside our house. We later found out the tape left a super sticky residue on our stairs, which nearly ruined our carpet, but once again, Mark made it right and called out another guy named Dean to steam clean our carpets. Although he got the job done, he was definitely pretty rough and ended up damaging one of our walls, which was a bit frustrating, but I guess no job is perfect. All things considered, I would use Kade again, so long as they send out the A-team, which I would consider to be Mark, Kevin and Miguel. read more

Today we received a second and third estimate from other companies. For the exact same services, the other two companies were $2700 and $2300 cheaper than Kade. And, the immediately called me immediately sent an estimate about 6 hours after their visit. Unlike Kade where we called them no less than 5-6 times to request our quote. If I could give Kade 10 STARS I would! We had a fire and water sprinkler emergency. Kade was called late on a Saturday night and they executed the situation immediately. Impressive from our clean up to working with the insurance companies to connecting the right contractors for our house which had to be gutted. Recently I flooded my laundry room when the water line had not been connected. I rushed in to see water spewing and quickly turned it off. Unfortunately, the water had left its mark and a 2 inch flood engulfed my laundry room. They did an outstanding job and even completed the project earlier than scheduled.
