Kacy Performance is the real deal. I've been consistently training with Kacy since September 2024. I started this journey to invest in my health and get in shape for my wedding in September 2025-and it's been one of the best decisions I've made. At first, I was intimidated. I hadn't stepped into a gym since high school, and working out in a space full of fit, confident people made me nervous. I wasn't sure if I'd belong or if I'd be judged, but I booked a consultation anyway. Kacy broke down the program, pricing, and structure-explaining that I'd be training alongside others instead of having one-on-one sessions the whole time. That honestly helped ease my nerves. I liked the idea of being guided but still having some space to grow at my own pace. Kacy's approach is legit. His pricing is more reasonable than big-box gyms like LA Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness, and you get so much more value. Yes, you share the space with other clients, but he makes sure you understand each movement before stepping away. He prioritizes safety and proper form above all else. If you're unsure or lack confidence, he's right there to coach and correct you until you get it right. He keeps the energy high and the sessions focused. He's serious about preventing injury and helping you progress-and if you stay consistent, you will see results. He's not one of those Instagram "trainers" doing it for likes. He truly knows his stuff and backs it up with science and strategy. Also, he's hilarious. His memory? Not the best-you may have to repeat yourself sometimes-but he genuinely cares and puts in the work to help you succeed. When I started, I couldn't even do a barbell squat. I felt awkward, weak, and wanted to quit. But Kacy didn't let me give up. Every week, he had me work at it, and over time, I gained confidence and strength. Today, I'm confidently squatting 125 lbs-and I hit a personal record! That kind of growth doesn't happen overnight, but with consistency and guidance, it does happen. Let's talk progress: When I started, I weighed 196 lbs and had close to 40% body fat. I committed to 12 sessions a month (training 3x per week). Of course, life happens-vacations, holidays, work trips-but Kacy is flexible. He lets you adjust your schedule so you don't lose out on your sessions. Fast forward to today: Weight: 175.5 lbs Muscle Mass: 68.1 lbs Body Fat: 31.6% But more than numbers, I feel different. I feel strong. I feel proud. And with my wedding just two months away, I'm finally feeling confident in my dress. Kacy uses an InBody scanner to track your progress-muscle, fat, water levels-and it's been an amazing accountability tool. Watching those numbers shift is a huge motivator. My biggest advice? Be consistent, trust the process, and hit your protein goals! The results will speak for themselves. I'm stronger, leaner, and healthier than I've been in years--and it's all thanks to Kacy Performance. (And yes-check out my before and current photos, plus my InBody scan results. Before training with Kacy.

As I write this review, I cannot believe the transformation both physically and mentally I have gained by training with Kacy. When I first entered the gym for my first session, I weighed around 115 pounds and had zero confidence with myself. As I started training and seeing what I am capable of, I completely transformed and became a different person. Both physically and mentally. As I write this review and look back on the journey I realized that training with him was the best decision I've ever made in my life. I currently weight around 155 pounds vs my start weight of 115 pounds. What I like about Kacy is that he really knows what he's doing with everything from workouts, diet, nutrition, and recovery (stretching, rest, etc.). The knowledge he has with fitness is impressive to say the least. If you are considering changing your life for the better, do not hesitate to reach out to him. Because I cannot describe the feeling I have from working out under his guidance.

(Sorry I write a lot but that's just how great this training experience has been) 10/10 recommend--I have been training with Kacy since January 2022. I was referred to Kacy Performance by a coworker and I am forever grateful. I have a naturally athletic figure, but I wanted to make progress that I could actually track and challenge myself. I used to be that person who would sit in their car for 20 minutes before actually going in the gym. And then immediately go to the treadmill and look for any machine thats open with 0 plan. I have also had trainers in the past individual and group but Kacy has been the only trainer who actually makes sure your form is correct and takes that serious and if something is hurting that day or week he has alternative workouts to help support the injury while still making progress. Working with Kacy I can 100% say I have made consistent progress, I learned correct form, I learned what my body measurements actually meant, I am able to see and track my progress and I am finally confident going to a gym by myself when Kacy isn't there. Another plus-- I also learned correct names for the gym equipment (no more "silver bar thingy") lol. Kacy has us track our exercises each day with the correct name of the exercise, the reps and the weight. This has helped me learn different exercises and have an actual gym plan with different muscle groups. Its also nice to see when I have gone up in weight and hit a PR. What I like about training with Kacy: He actually knows his stuff!!! He helps with correct form (which is crucial and something I used to struggle with and I've never had with prior trainers), he gives reason to why the exercises he is having us do is important and what muscle group they are focused on. And he challenges us! He knows our potential and actually pushes us to to lift heavy the right way. He has trained us to be successful by ourselves. Overall I highly recommend Kacy performance.

Choosing to train with Kacy has been one of the best decisions I've made in my fitness journey. I've only been working with him for 20 days, and I have already seen and felt more progress than I ever had with previous fitness routines. After only 11 days I was already down 4lbs and 4% body fat- im still in disbelief about that but, as you can see in the picture I included, the numbers speak for themselves! I give so much credit not just to his highly personalized and targeted workouts but to the tailored nutrition guide he set me up with. It's evident that Kacy has a solid knowledge base about the science of exercise. He's not just helping me look good, he's also teaching me how to prioritize building strength and how to move safely. It's only been 20 days, I'm just getting started but I'm already confident that I'm going to crush my goals with Kacy's guidance.

Fat mass loss (7.4 lbs)

Overall I lost 7.4 lbs (all fat). I didn't gain any muscle BUT I kept the muscle I had and I ended up lifting more than I ever have. I went from hip thrusting 35lbs on ea. side to 2 plates & 25lbs on ea. side! I also went from chest pressing 32.5 dumbbells to 42.5. My muscle mass didn't improve because I didn't hit my protein intake . If you are new to the gym Kacy will show you how to fix your form/do the the exercises correctly. He will also give you an exercise routine that you can do outside of the sessions (write down your sessions). If you've been working out for a while, he really pushes you to up weight. There have been countless times where I didn't think I'd go up in weight and then he'd make me grab the next weight. It was honestly the push I needed to get stronger. I also wanna mention if you are worried about your joints or your back. Kacy is pretty good about asking and making sure you are good before you go heavier or before you move on to a more difficult workout. I would highly recommend training with him. I love the progress I've seen all around. I especially noticed my waist shrunk. I wish I would've taken a picture or measured myself. If you do choose to go with him I would recommend doing one of those. Stick to the diet and don't lie about things being too hard, push through and you will honestly see results. I hope my pictures are enough to show the results of just 2 months. I could have gotten more results if I stuck to the diet better. *the dates show an extra 2 weeks but those were 2 weeks I didn't work out*

But this is not a gym; it is a training facility where you work with trainers to tackle your physical goals. Next, this is about my trainer, Kevin Abandy. Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. If you're reading this and decide to get a consultation with Kevin, please let him know you saw Alex's review so he knows his method is making an impact.

My mom had an…read moreaccident/scare at the gym last week where she needed assistance because she was exhausted from her workout and had low blood sugar. Sam and Alex helped my mom immediately and provided her much needed sugar + water and kept an eye on her as she recovered. We really appreciate both of them for taking care of my mom and fostering a safe environment for people to workout in. On the gym itself - I have been a member of many gyms from NYC to CA. This gym is large and has what I need to support my fitness goals. This is still the best gym in the area (compared to LA Fitness, Crunch, anytime fitness etc.). It can be crowded during rush hours, so be prepared.

The manager was so rude and dismissive when I tried to ask a simple question, acting like helping members was an inconvenience. The gym itself looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Several machines were either out of order or clearly worn out, and the ones that did work looked unsafe to use. For a place that charges a membership fee every month, you'd expect the equipment to at least be maintained. On top of that, i  was told i couldn't use the three-day free pass because I had been a member back in 2005 at a different 24 hour fitness. The manager insisted it stated that on the pass, but when I looked it up myself, it said you just couldn't have been a member within the last six months. Being turned away over something from nearly 20 years ago made no sense. What made the situation worse was how his attitude completely changed once he realized we weren't going to sign up on the spot. He became cold and basically turned us away, saying we couldn't even work out. He even suggested we go try another location and "maybe they'll let you do it there." Overall, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Between the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, outdated equipment, and the way we were treated, this was one of the worst gym experiences I've had. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location unless some serious improvements are made.

Their equipment is also top-notch, especially the free weights--they use some of the best brands in the industry. Because of the high-end equipment, you'll notice that the membership fees are on the higher side. ​The Cons (Hygiene & Maintenance): Despite the nice gear, the facility is extremely dirty and feels like it's never been cleaned. The handles on the treadmills and ellipticals are often sticky, and there is a thick layer of dust underneath the machines. It's gross! If you've ever been to the Planet Fitness in Diamond Bar, you'll realize just how dirty Curl actually is. ​The most shocking thing I've witnessed is the cleaning process. The cleaning lady uses the same brush to scrub the inside of the toilet bowl and then the toilet seat. Seeing her scrub the bowl and then immediately wipe the seat with the same tool is horrifying! To be clear, she works very hard and I'm not blaming her personally--management simply hasn't provided her with the proper tools or training. Additionally, there is a light in the shower area that has been out forever and never gets repaired. ​Atmosphere & Service: Another bizarre thing is that they don't turn on the AC during the winter. It gets incredibly hot inside. Perhaps that's better for the elderly members, but it's uncomfortable for a real workout. Furthermore, the front desk staff is completely indifferent; when you walk in, they treat you like you're invisible. ​Bottom Line: I only kept this membership because my child has an enrichment class nearby, and it's a convenient place to wait. If my kid weren't taking classes in this area, I definitely wouldn't keep this membership.

This review is way way waaaaaayyyy past due!! Where should I start?…read more My Story: So, a little over a year ago, I had miscarried what would have been our 4th baby. I was going through such a tough tough time both mentally because of the loss and physically from being pregnant. I had done everything from boot camp, yoga, and cycling. You name it, I've done it. While checkin out my friends posts and stories on Instagram, I kept seeing posts for a facility that opened up in Chino Hills, Self Made Training Facility with Pablo from Ambitious Fitness. I contacted him and the rest is pretty much history. Myself, my husband, niece, nephew and son all train with Ambitious Fitness. Best things about Ambitious Fitness: 1) Pablo and his team (and I mean every single one of them) are incredibly passionate and love what they do, and it totally shows in their energy and the way they carry themselves. 2) They have this amazing ability to push you beyond what you think you can do. You would have never thought that this Asian girl who only played badminton and piano as a sport could deadlift 275lbs. 3) They make sure you will achieve your goals and get results. My results: Being only 125 lbs in college, it was hard to believe I would get to as much as 168lbs and 36% body fat, but I did. After a year with Pablo I got down to 148lbs and 19.1% body fat at my lowest. I am more physically fit than I ever was and mentally stronger. Hit Ambitious Fitness up!! If it's for your health and for your future, it's definitely worth a try.

I've been working with Mia for almost 6 months now and have dropped about 5% in body fat and gained…read more7% in muscle mass. I would have never considered myself "overweight" but knew I needed to lose a few pounds. I've tried the traditional membership gyms but always found that I would lose interest or motivation. When I started inquiring about personal trainers, Mia was very prompt at answering. During our consultation I did a body fat scan and was shocked to find out that I was nearly 25%. We talked and I learned that it was less about the weight and more about body composition and fat/muscle percentages. Due to my work schedule we were able to meet twice a week for an hour a session. Mia adds good variety to our workouts and I definitively know that I push myself more during our sessions that I normally would have if I were doing the workouts by myself. She also places an emphasis on nutrition and offers advice on what to eat and what to stay away from. The last couple of years my diet has gotten progressively worse, and she's been a great help in getting me back on track. I've noticed that I've started making much healthier choices in the foods I eat. still have a ways to go but would highly recommend Mia for helping you get you to your goals!
