Many guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, in large part to PD's styling and floral arrangements at the venue. They were much more involved than just a day-of-coordinator. I was planning the wedding from afar and we met a handful of times in person throughout the year leading up to the wedding, they offered recommendations for vendors, and they really took over the month of the wedding. They communicated with all of the vendors about the wedding day timeline, they made sure all parties were where they needed to be during the wedding, and my wedding was PERFECT. It felt great to be in such good hands. I couldn't have done it without Parie Designs. With a perfect wedding, you must be asking, why four stars? While the service and floral were impeccable, we ran into several inconsistencies on the invoice. It's disappointing, even to me, to subtract a star due to invoice issues. The initial consultation consists of filling out an invoice based on the vision you present of your wedding, then you pay half of the initial invoice as a booking fee. Nine months later, right before the wedding, I received an updated invoice for our final payment. The final invoice was about $1,500 more expensive than our initial invoice, but I hadn't added $1,500 worth of rentals to the invoice. I compared item by item to find that 5 invoice items had gone up in price from the initial invoice. There was back and forth about these items, and some of them were lowered back to the original price, but not all of them. I highly recommend Parie Designs so long as you keep the initial invoice in a safe spot so you can compare to the final invoice.

I had my wedding here over Memorial Day weekend and the proximity of the venue to the Marriott was great. Everything was fine until the night of the wedding when a random male was at the wedding talking to my guests and taking pictures. He identified himself as the co-owner which I had no way of verifying. When I talked to the coordinator she said she had told me he would be there and he was in fact a co-owner. I had no recollection of this, only being told her daughter would be there to help prior to. I felt highly uncomfortable having someone I did not know, who introduced them self to me at my wedding, talking to my guests and taking photos of my guests and I without my permission. He was upset when asked to leave and made some accusations of my father in law which were unwarranted.

The actual venue is nice for a small wedding and has parts of a pre-existing bank, which was really cool. I really feel all the issues were related to the coordinator. She was in charge of the decor, flowers & bouquets, and flow of the night. The flowers were the totally not what the bride picked (like hot pink instead of plum) and most were wilted. The bride is an awesome chick and shrugged it off.. But she was definitely disappointed. Then we get to the reception and their sound system doesn't work for TWO HOURS. The coordinator was griping to guests about how she "wanted to leave early to feed her horses" and was rudely shushing people over the mic to get the guests to quiet down to make up for the quiet music. Everyone was appalled. The bride and groom attempted their "first dance" three times but had to stop each time because the music was faint or nonexistent. A sound tech guy showed up a long time after and the rest of the night went very smoothly. Everyone had a blast and the coordinator was MIA. Bottom line- I would consider referring this venue to a friend if it was under different management.

He was extremely accommodating with all of my requests. He downloaded the exact versions of the ceremony songs we requested, he put together a perfect playlist for the cocktail hour that complimented our venue and the feel we were going for, and he played great reception music to get the dance floor packed! One of my bridesmaids performed our first dance song, and Jack provided her with the sound equipment she needed to perform with her guitar. I can't recommend Jack and DJ Entertainment enough!
