Chicken platter- chicken kabob, chick peas, rice, salad and bread
Susan D.

Love this place. Just had my usual order, chicken kabob platter. Absolutely love their chicken kabobs, rice. And chicken peas. The only thing I don't like is they recently started including the salad inside the container with the hot food and put the chicken peas in another container. So much better when the chick peas were in the container with everything and salad (which is cold) was separate. Highly recommend!

Yum! Came in on a whim when I decided this place looked interesting and wasn't disappointed. I ordered a lamb sandwich and it came with a side of chickpeas in the most delightful sauce. The sandwich was seasoned to perfection and the bread was nice and soft and didn't overpower the fillings. The whole thing was so incredible! If you're in the mood for fresh and flavorful food, come here. The prices are fair and the servings are nice and filling. You can even get it to go through Door Dash.

Place an order at 1pm they confirmed it and the ETA was 1:30pm drove 20 minutes and when arrived they cancelled it saying they are out of stock. You should not confirm something that you don't have and make people drive 20 minutes.

We were visiting the area and were excited to see a Kabob shop in the area. The inside area is small with a handful of tables. Menu is easy to read with pictures. We ordered the chicken thigh kabob and the combo kabob. We were surprised with the portions as each entree plate came with rice, salad, chickpeas, and bread with tzatziki sauce and a herbs sauce. Food was fresh and bread was warm and soft, pairing very well with the sauces provided. Wait times took longer than expected so recommend ordering ahead or dining in while you have time. Nice service, seemed like a family business. Recommend if you're in the area!

The food is worth the trip. The spinach needs to be featured. The meats and bread YESSSS! The salad blah but what can you do with iceberg lettuce. Take it to go! It is like a Ghanie greasy spoon so do not get it twisted. Dad keeps it simple on decor, and amenities.

Super dish includes 3 different kabobs, rice, meat sauce, salad, chickpeas and naan! Enough food for 2 people easily!

First timer! Looking for somewhere close to where my husband was parked. Happened to be across the street and the reviews were pretty good. Called in our takeout order and was ready when he got there! Ordered the "super dish" which consisted of three different kabobs (chicken, lamb, and ground beef), rice with side of meat sauce, salad, chickpeas and a whole naan. Great choice for us since we can try out the different kabobs and not have to order a few separate entrees. The price was excellent too at $21.50!! It was plenty of food for the both of us and agreed that the taste was pretty good. We will definitely order again since it's close to his work!

I have a few go-to kabob places, so I'm always a little wary on trying a new place, with the worry that it won't live up or satisfy my craving. This place is very close to my house, and the reviews were good, so gave it a shot. It. was. so. good. All their platters come with a salad, protein, rice, bread, and chickpeas. FOOD: Chicken thigh platter: the chicken was so tender. The rice was cooked perfect and seasoned just enough. I loooove their chick peas. Combo platter: Beef, lamb, and chicken breast. I'm usually not a fan of lamb, but it was good! Still had that gamey taste, but not too overpowering. The bread that comes with it is enormous. And the sauce (white sauce) is to die for. Not only that, the platters average ~$12, but the portions are huge! Could only finish half. Will definitely be coming back here.

Lamb kebab sandwich

I ordered lamb kebab sandwich to go. It took good 10 mins to prepare. "Bread" is light, taste like made to order. Lamb has good texture, not too chewy nor tender. Under Seasoning to my taste. Veggies and mint yogurt sauce are very fresh. Nothing to rave about, but I would come back to try other stuff. $8.95 + tax. Service ok.. old man was not friendly, was not a very warm/ welcoming vibe. Simple sitting area for dine in.

This appears to be a neighborhood favorite for afghan cuisine/kabobs. And rightfully so, it's got the flavor at a good price with large portions and friendly staff. What took me so long to try this food in the first place!? My gf and her parents took me here for dinner and we loved everything we ordered. We got two combo platter #12s and the lamb platter #7. Enough to feed 5-6 people, it involves meats, brown rice, cucumber salad, side of chickpeas, and the Afghan naan/bread. All the items had tremendous flavor and complimented each other together. Their sauce makes eating everything much better with a coolness to handle the heat from the spices. The combo platter contains beef, chicken, and lamb so if you don't know what proteins you want, order that and thank yourself later when you're full from your food coma. No doubt that I'll be exploring more afghan cuisine after eating here as my food world has expanded! I hope they are as good as this place as this kabob place does it right!

First time visiting this place which was located in a strip mall with other businesses such as El Mirado, Arturo's Kitchen and Cafe Rio. As you walked in, plenty of seatings, some decor and it was clean. There 5 items ordered: 1) Samosa 2) Manto 3) Hummus 4) Chicken Pide 5) Lamb Kabob Wrap. When the hummus arrived to the table it also came with a basket with large strip of naan. The naan was lightly crispy on the outer edges, airy in the middle ànd with a dab of hummus on top. It was very delicious. The samosas came with three and the homemade green sauce. The samosas were tasty but by adding that green sauce really enhanced the flavors. I ordered a small manto which is their version of dumplings filled with beef which taste like lamb; onions topped with yogurt and fresh herbs. They were soft in texture and with the combination it was delicious. I stack the naan with the hummus and manto .. I tell ya bala bing. It was dang gone good. Now came the chicken pide which is an oval shape pizza that arrive to the table and it look gorgeous. The outer crust looks so pillowly and airy as the filling looks scrumptious. When I took that first bite, my taste buds were dancing with salivating joy. It was incredibly satisfying and once I added some green sauce, it elevated it even more. The wrap was delicious too. Our server Rina was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely make another visit whenever I'm in the area again.

We love this place!!! It is so nice to have a casual restaurant with good food, freshly made naan,…read moreaffordable prices, and a wide variety of dishes. The staff are so friendly and the place is clean. It is a welcoming atmosphere, and we love bringing the kids in. They love the pizza, salmon, and meatballs. I really enjoyed my ground beef kabobs (Shami), the Manto, Samosa, and Gyros. Above all else, their bread is soooo good from their Naan to the garlic bread served with the Italian dishes. They make fresh dough in house and it makes a difference! It's great to have a solid Mediterranean and Afghan restaurant in Manassas! It's not a chain and is something unique. Come check it out when you're in the area!!

I really enjoy the food. My favorite item to order is the fried yam and chofi. If you like crunchy,…read morecrispy yam chips, you will definitely enjoy this meal. The meat is tossed in a pepper sauce that is very flavorful and really brings everything together. I've also tried the jollof rice, which was okay, but the fried yam remains my favorite and is always my staple order.

Deliciousness - 3/5 Happiness - 4/5…read more I always enjoy the chance to experience new types of cuisine, and this is a nice find (especially in this neck of the woods). Featuring food from Ghana, there's a big menu full of adventures! I went there for lunch and ordered a Ghanian classic that I'd never had - tilapia with spicy pepper sauce and banku - which is a huge ball of fermented dough. The fish was good and a very generous portion of the entire fish. I especially liked it paired with the pepper sauce and a second fruity sauce. It came with some peppers and onions on top that I would have much preferred cooked to raw. The banku was like nothing else I've eaten - a light texture (like airy porridge). But while I enjoyed trying someting, it was a bit too sour for me. I didn't get through much of the heaping helping. I also ordered a Ghanian beer (called Charm) that I didn't like. It was like a hoppier Miller Lite, and wasn't too refreshing. The restaurant is gorgeously decorated and had a giant screen playing soccer on it. They had very over-loud music on (had I not been solo, it would've been tough to have a conversation). All the servers were very nice and checked on me regularly, but the service was also very slow (especially as I was one of two tables there at the time). I'd go again (especially to try a turkey dish that looked tasty) and continue experiencing new flavors and preparations. But I wasn't blown away on my first visit.
