For over two years now, that place has been House of Dog Retreat and Spa. Here's all the amazing things about House of Dog: Dog Boarding- they are located by the airport so it's an easy drop-off and pickup. Got a crazy timed flight? They can accommodate because there is ALWAYS someone there watching and caring for the dogs. They follow directions really well, especially if your dog has a special diet or needs medicine. Doggie Daycare- the most attentive staff money can buy and it's affordable!! They make sure the dogs are paired with similar personalities and watch AND cleanup after them vigilantly. I've never walked in and seen the place a mess, in fact no matter what time of day I'm there they are constantly cleaning. Health precautions- they make sure all dogs have their necessary shots as well as alert dog owners if there's any outbreaks within the neighborhood of any health issues. My dog has never gotten sick from House of Dog most likely because of the cleaning, but also because they have a check list of symptoms posted at drop off so if your dog has any you cannot bring them in. Friendliness- everyone is kind to both the humans and the dogs, but the love for dogs shows. Dog Grooming - they follow instructions and do an excellent job keeping pups calm! Staff- well trained, attentive and creative! My dog has done art projects, photo ops and gone to foam parties at house of dog - how many boarding facilities or kennels do you know that do that??

Amanda (owner/manager?) didn't even tell me that they introduced her to one dog only at first. She made it sound like they put my baby into a room with 15 other dogs right away and she was fearful and snappy when any dog came near her. I would be the same way. I took her to another nearby day care for evaluation. And was told that while she was shy and timid at first, she did warm up to all of the people and even played with two other pit bulls the whole day. If there was a '0' star option I would do that. Please note: I asked for a callback from Amanda TWICE to clarify whether or not Mira was slowly introduced or if she was really just placed into a room with 15 other dogs -- and never received a call.

Now in my older years my husband and I adopted a rescue pup during the pandemic - the dog grew larger than we thought it would. Our social contacts were limited because of the pandemic and so were those of our dog. While we worked hard to train her but nothing substitutes for professionals and the folks at Wonmanog did just that- through their unique set up they have done an incredible job at helping her mature and grow- they are strict but I like knowing what to expect and I enjoy the feedback so I know what to work on with my dog. While we have our favorites among them, I never think twice about putting my pets in the excellent care of any of the doctors. They've treated our 3 dogs and 3 cats for everything from wellness checks to issues with bones, teeth, skin, soft tissue and injuries and even tumors. They are even willing to treat our cat from hell! Most recently, what was seemingly a small issue with my service dog turned out to be a potentially life-threatening problem which would have never been uncovered and treated were it not for Dr Harclerode's tenacity and diagnostic prowess. I highly recommend Ludwigs Corner.

The noise level was extremely loud and that made choice seating extremely limited. But they did a stellar job of seating us as best they could and it was appreciated. The food on the other hand was disappointing. I asked if the fried oysters were pan fried or beaded. By sight one could see they were not pan fried. In fact we sent them back twice only to learn that they were breaded and gave the appearance of a rather large portion of fried chicken. As the crowd got even larger we had them boxed and left. The oysters were at best marginal and the breading was overpowering. Having eaten there several times over the years and never disappointed. Just chalked up to a beautiful weather evening a good bunch of musicians and close to school end.

My husband and I adopted a 2-year-old rescue yellow lab from a breeding farm who needed a lot of support adjusting to home life. When we first started working with Michelle, we could barely make it out our front door. Walks felt overwhelming due to reactivity to cars, people, and other dogs. We began private lessons with Michelle about four weeks after bringing our pup home, and she was truly amazing from day one. Patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive, she met us exactly where we were and gave us practical tools that made a real difference. Now, the transformation has been unbelievable. We're regularly going on multiple 1+ mile walks every day, and they're not just manageable...they're genuinely enjoyable. Navy absolutely loves them, and so do we. We honestly can't thank Michelle enough for helping us build this kind of life with our dog. We recommend her to anyone we know getting a dog and will absolutely be back as we continue working on new goals. Thank you so much, Michelle, you were truly a lifesaver.

We had her twice per day for 3 weeks on a winter vacation, and once per day for 3.5 weeks on a summer vacation. She sent tons of great pictures and a write up for every single visit. We have a unique situation domesticating a feral cat family, and Rebekah was unhesitant to help! She was very patient and kind with our timid kitties, and very friendly with our outgoing one. We have her booked again for a future trip, and hope to try her overnight visits for the trip after that. This recent trip, we had to shorten our stay by a week prior to leaving, and then last-minute extend by a day due to an emergency, and Rebekah did not miss a beat, handling everything including mail pick up when our hold was delivered due to our late return. She has been very flexible with our input and feedback about animal needs, changed litter more frequently than we do, left our home better than she found it, and most importantly, kept our pets happy and safe! She is a definite cat whisperer and she has a lot of wisdom to impart about animals. 5 stars, very professional, had our back at every turn!
