I had to settle and give it a try as my schedule is all over the place and I was falling behind on my fur babies walks. Shannon showed up and in an instant I was so comfortable with letting them go with her. she was so friendly and personable I felt like I knew her as friend. Communication was great. Dogs loved her right off the bat. she comes twice a week punctually and my dogs anxiously await her visit. prices are very reasonable and affordable. But the place is not clean and our dogs came back severely traumatized after a two week stay. My belief is that the owner works during the day and does not stay on the premises. We chose this place hoping that an out of town location would save us some money over our usual in-town boarder. We will not go back again. It should be noted that one of our dogs was actually quite sick when she went in though we did not realize this. We later had to euthanize her. As she was very old and had cancer, I would not say they hastened her death. However, the other dog, who is healthy, was also traumatized and fearful when he returned home. Her kennel smells bad and was full of flies. We have been at other kennels where we toured the runs and they were much, much cleaner.

I was kind of wondering why you would go on vacation and leave your senior dog in ANY kennel?! We have a 12 year old large lab who we would never leave alone at this stage of his life.
