I was immediately comfortable and confident that I had reached the right person . Step 1: He sent over a very detailed questionnaire, so he would know my dog before he met him. I did the 10 week at my home, which was most convenient for me. I would like to note that I travel and have a crazy schedule so we had to reschedule many times. I thank Roy for accommodating professional life. Step 2: our first in person visit Roy met Finn, my extremely rambunctious Australian shepherd/Shetland sheepdog, who loves to run out the front door and dash out into the desert, or bolt past me going down the stairs inside my house, almost sending me down the stairs . Little did I know training was as much for me, as it was for my dog. I learned so much about my dog and about me. Lots of things I thought were cute I have found are not so endearing I am still amazed. With every visit, I gained more insight and knowledge from Roy. Started out just leaving my house and working up and down my own Street. Step 3: moving from working in our neighborhood down to walking around at the park in the downtown area. Teaching Finn to sit at the corners before crossing, and not to chase after birds or other dogs. He no longer yanks on his leash. I am very grateful for the experience. I want to thank Roy from the bottom of my heart. Our lives have changed and are so much different, having a dog properly trained. Finn still has a long way to go, but I am willing to make the effort with the information Roy has given me to succeed. I plan on stopping in to his drop in classes in Kingman on Saturdays, because Finn's training will never be over, he is sly lol and he likes to get one up on me anytime he thinks I'm not paying attention. After all he is a smart dog! Roy travelled all the way from Kingman to Needles for our training, and I know he goes to Lake Havasu City and Bullhead and God knows where else If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced trainer, Roy is your guy . Thank you, Roy.

Dee and her husband Walt gave me amazing advice on what snacks to get both girls to keep them engaged and out of trouble, what foods were good for them, what chew toys would benefit them and then tailored their entire training to fit the specific needs of both Stella and Wicket at the same time. They were able to educate us on what types of dogs we had, plus the energy levels and adult sizes of the dogs, among other things. I personally feel like they went well above and beyond my expectations for what a trainer would normally do (I thought trainers just taught the dogs to do what they are told and help fix behaviors) These guys don't stop at commands, they want to genuinely see you and your best friend thrive together and build a strong bond. Anytime we came to a session with questions about new or worsening behaviors like chewing on things, plowing over the kids, etc. Dee was ready with advice, commands, and sometimes even educational videos to help us fix things. Both Stella and Wicket passed the basic puppy class and we are working on enrolling them for the next step up. In addition to my own experience, a few months ago my oldest daughter got herself a puppy named Blaze (heeler & Australian shepherd mix) who is massively energetic and currently a couple of weeks into his training. In just a few short weeks he has already started to become a whole different dog from what we are used to. We had a massive bump in the road relating to Blaze, which brought his training temporarily to a screeching halt when he needed surgery. Dee was beyond accommodating and so kind to us while we went through almost losing Blaze and then having a two week long recovery for him when he finally came home to us. It doesn't matter how many dogs I end up getting, they will all go through training with Dee and I make sure to recommend her to all my family and friends when they have concerns about their pups.

Our dog died here July 5th, 2025. I can't give a rating on…read morehow they treated our dog because he didn't live through the weekend that we left him in their care, but I will write a review on how they handled the situation after. We got a call Saturday July 5th, 2025, around 9am that our dog had died an HOUR earlier. We rushed over to the facility and David Torres, who I assume is the owner or lead trainer, told us that our Frenchie had breathing complications and died. Not in the heat but in the air-conditioned area that they kept the dogs in. It made no sense to me because our dog would sleep with us every night in an AC controlled room. I asked to see the security footage because I wanted to rule out negligence on their part. David told me he would get the footage and asked if I could return later. I told him I wouldn't leave until I saw it with my own eyes. After a few hours David came back and said he needed to wait for their IT tech to return to retrieve any footage. My wife and I were furious and didn't know what to do since we were staying in town for the holiday weekend. David then offered to have our dog cremated locally but we refused. He also insisted and provided a WRITTEN PROMISE to provide us with ANY puppy we wanted. At the moment we didn't want to hear anything about another dog. We went to the store to buy a cooler and placed our Frenchie inside and started a 5-hour drive back home in silence. We were able to get him cremated locally by our home and David said he would take care of the bill. We paid out of pocket and sent David the receipt. David then promised he would mail out a check, but after almost 3 weeks nothing came. We had to reach out again, and a check finally arrived a few days later. After a few weeks of back and forth, David sent a message that EVERY camera that covered the area where our dog was staying had malfunctioned and had no footage of the incident AT ALL. It became extremely difficult to believe that no negligence had occurred after this... Back in December 2025 my wife and I were still feeling the emptiness in our home. We had gotten our Frenchie shortly after getting married. Since we have no children, our dog filled that void at times. I spoke to my wife about getting another dog and I remembered the written promise David made. I reached out to David and let him know what my wife and I wanted to get a puppy to be a family of three once again. He confirmed he received our request and we let him know we wanted an Australian Shepherd. Weeks went by and there were never any solid leads. He offered us an Australian Cattle Dog but I didn't want to accept that only because it was convenient. If we were going to get another dog, we wanted to be able to choose him, not have it forced on us. This is where things became very frustrating. For almost 5 weeks there was no response from David. Not only until I cc'd the support email did I get a response from David a few days later. He casually brought up that he had been in Texas for a month. I understand that for a business owner, something that happened months ago may not be a priority, but for my wife and I, it's something we get reminded of every day when we see our dog's toys in the laundry room. David then confirmed that they would most likely not be able to find us a dog and offered us $500 as an alternative. My wife and I were so tired of dragging this on that we agreed to the $500 so we could save up and get our own dog. David asked for my home address, which he would have had from the cremation check, and confirmed he would mail out a check via FedEx or UPS. Here we are 2 WEEKS LATER still with NO UPDATE from David or the support email. If you have a good relationship with this facility great. But if you're in town and looking for a place to entrust your pets consider another facility. The way David handled this situation was beyond unprofessional. I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted to give David the benefit of the doubt, but I guess it doesn't really matter to him. If anyone from the team responds to this review before the list of unanswered emailed it would just further my point of unprofessionalism.

Your response on Google proves my point--no accountability, just deflection…read more Let's be clear: your reply doesn't address any of the actual issues I raised. You still haven't pointed to a single written policy stating that a dog with fleas will be banned. You talk in circles about vaccines and "standards," yet completely ignore the fact that you have no clear intake protocol for checking dogs for fleas before boarding. My dog had no visible fleas, no itching, and had been vet-treated with a 30-day preventative just a week prior. I have documentation. But instead of doing your due diligence or even communicating like professionals, you chose to blame the customer and permanently ban my dog, a dog who had been coming to your facility for five years. That's not customer service. That's unprofessional damage control. And speaking of your response--if you can't use basic grammar or properly articulate your own policies, that says a lot about how you operate. Words were misused, statements were contradictory, and large parts of your message made no sense in the context of the issue. If you can't communicate clearly, how are customers supposed to trust your judgment or processes? Running a business requires more than just capacity--it requires competence. Your vague mention of "additional reasons" with no details is just a way to dodge responsibility. You claim to be the "largest facility in the Tri-State," yet failed to properly screen or manage a situation involving one dog. Being big doesn't mean being better--especially when it comes at the expense of accountability and transparency. You also mention the BBB, but the fact remains: you're not accredited. Not having complaints isn't a sign of quality--it just means people are turning to platforms like this because you don't handle concerns professionally. Your refusal to accept responsibility, your condescending tone, and your complete lack of a flea policy all speak volumes. You mishandled this situation from beginning to end. Other pet owners deserve to know exactly how you operate.

Luna engaged in a lot of leash pulling and some reactivity when she would see other dogs. Luna is now able to walk calmly and does not overreact when another dog is around or near her. Raymond was thorough and explained things with care and patience on how to continue their training at home, answered any question and concerns we had and provided us with feedback when he had us practice the tools he used with our girls.
