The kind where your powerful dog finds something disgusting to roll in during the night, and you do your best to wrestle the dog into the tub even though she hates watee. And you soap her up multiple times and rinse it out and dry her off the best you can and she still stinks and wants to sleep in your bed. And you pet her stinky fur for 90 minutes before she will lay down and go to sleep. All 3 times this has happened to us, South Paw has been ready to help us right away when they open. Once the woman we spoke to was stressed by how many appointments they had and she still got us in. They are always friendly and the dogs smell good and are in great shape afterwards. Nails are well trimmed. They are speedy too. And their prices, for washing at least, seem very competetive. Highly recommended.

I'm not very happy feeling that my dog is left alone when the store is closed... i'm assuming multiple dogs are there, what if something happed to any of them. After my dog's board and train program with her, I saw almost immediate improvement in his behavior at home. She recommended scent work, and it's made him a calmer dog. Whenever I have to leave town I will always bring Po to Sarah! He is a Rottweiler mix, and trainers in the past have been intimidated by his looks. He is very sweet but also incredibly stubborn. Sarah was patient, understanding and caring with Po, and now he can't wait to get away from me when I drop him off! I would recommend her for people with "difficult" dogs because of her empathetic yet structured approach. She is incredibly knowledgeable and one of the only people I trust to take care of my dog.

I am not usually bothered but, man that was really bad. I was concerned about the outdoor play area they showed through another window because it was not made for dogs at all. It is simply a fenced area that happened to be there--and the dogs have to go down concrete steps. Great if you have a larger dog. Terrible if you have a mini dachshund--a breed that is not supposed to go down stairs at all. They are supposed to use ramps. I expressed my concern and said that would be a problem unfortunately and the reply is that she could learn to use them. I know that. The point is that medically, long backed low dogs are not supposed to use steps because of the association with IVDD/paralysis. With other choices we liked better, this was not the one for us.
