Although they were more busy than usual my doctor Jennifer Bhulanja DDS skipped her lunch to fit me in! I went back to get an actual cleaning, and they told me I need a periodontal cleaning and wanted an exorbitant amount of money to do that. Then I got a crazy bill for no cleaning and again looking in my mouth for 5 minutes all because they billed my insurance for an exam to put the crown in so now my insurance won't cover the exam during the cleaning. I went and got a second opinion elsewhere and paid out of pocket and paid less that they are trying to charge me AFTER insurance. Turns out I don't need any of the additional work they are saying. They are using insurance codes to drive up costs and get money where they can. Looking at other reviews, people are having similar experiences. I would take your business to any other practice.

I had a dentist elsewhere (a chain operation) before this who proposed an outrageous treatment plan and turned out almost none of that was necessary. Dr. Braun will always tell you the truth and isn't "selling" anything. I hear good things about the other dentist here too. I don't ever put forth effort to see the same hygienist and as a result have had many of them and they all seem to do a great job. They're booked super far out but if you need to be seen sooner and call and try to fill a cancellation spot that usually works out. I've been going here for 7+ years and family members also go here.

The Dr. was able to get me into a crown appointment in 2 days, which was great. I was told the next day the dentist became ill and I would not be able to get in for a few weeks. They said they can look at the schedule and see if they can get me in... That also did not happen and I had to call to follow up on what they said they were going to do. I dunno for something emergent going on they are treating this absolutely not emergent. I hope I don't end up with endocarditis. I would love to try another place but given I just had x rays done here I'm already established I'm stuck. I have to get a crown and this place offers SAME DAY CROWNS!!! I had no idea that service even existed! They understood how much anxiety I have towards getting a crown and sat down and explained everything in full detail of what I should expect that day and explained in full detail all the costs associated with the procedure. They eased my anxiety and now I'm not nearly as nervous as I was before. I think that says a lot about a dentist practice that understands you as a person and takes the time to sit with you. I told both the dental hygienist and the dentist my story. They both actively searched for cavities, and they found nothing. My dental hygienist was incredibly helpful--I learned things I've never known in my 28 years of flossing and brushing.
