The restaurant was always busy, but there was always plenty of tables available (from any time after 9PM). Ambiance was casual and very chill. We always ordered the draft beers and satays which we really love. Even till today, we can't find any place that has satay as good as here. The draft beers is so refreshing on a hot, humid day; and the Kirin draft comes with icy, cold foam on top which made the experience so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend dining here if you're in the mood for a good, refreshing beer with light bites. We've also tried the mango sticky rice and one of the cocktails (I forgot which, but I wasn't very fond of it). Service was quick- it wasn't amazing, but it was quick. They always got our order in and had it out with no problem. Prices are fair and low. We plan on frequenting this place more once we go back to HK.

If this weren't bad enough, we ordered a 2L beer tower and they never brought it out. All the food was already on the table and we had nothing to drink. Got so upset I cancelled it. Complaints to the waiter only got us into an arguement. They refused to take the satay or the noodles back. I know this is Hong Kong, known for the rudest food service the world over, but this place sets a whole new standard.

There are restaurants, stores, bars, malls, and convenience stores all within a block. Maybe there really is something to the name. The uber high ceilings are a nice interior touch, along with the subtle contemporary decor. Groups can enjoy custom cocktails, beers, and specialty drinks for a (semi-hefty) price, while being in a mix of tourists and Kowloon locals. There is beer pong and smoking happening, which more or less lends itself to the ambiance. I recommend their specialty cocktails, which again are pricey ($108+) but pack a potent punch thanks to their bartenders. But beyond the sensibilities of the drinks and decor, the staff is what brings me back. Jordan at the door, Zasha as the hostess, I've gotten far better service as a semi-regular than I would have as just a regular passerby. It's not my favorite M1 joint, but it nevertheless serves as a semi-needed nightlife venue for the neighborhood.

Both the two times I was here I was sitting at the large table, which could comfortably accommodate 12 people each, while it wouldn't be too close to get awkward with you are sharing the long table with other groups. The menu is roughly split into three categories, the deep fries, the seafood, and other classic Cajun dishes. The deep fries bucket is madness. Pick your fries, your accompaniment (corn, curly fries, or potato wedges), and your favor, and you are set. Seriously, I could come here just for the deep fried chicken tenders, scallops or soft shell crabs. The seafood was great too. I tried the (whatever-I've-forgotten-the-name) crab, and the crawfish and the king crab legs. They were mental. It's probably due to the fact that it's my first time I ever had seafood in a traditional Cajun low country boil technique, but the rich in favor was certainly memorable. If there's one thing I had to nitpick, that would be the market price of the seafood. The menu is obviously tailored toward groups of four or more, with most portions made large for sharing - true to their ideology of family, friends, good food and great party. Some like their seafood with white wine, I like mine with beer, especially when it's hearty and Cajun! It's a little pity that they only have Carlsberg and three craft beers (Dirty Bastard, Big Wave and Great White). Be prepared to get your hands dirty digging into the seafood! But fear not for your clothes, for aprons are provided to keep you stain free. The flavors are big and bold and do not disappoint! Their entire menu is for sharing, so we ordered a few appetizers and mains which included Ceviche Guayas ($175), Ceviche Nikkei ($175), Banana doce ($90), Porco crocante ($95), some skewers which included Octopus ($115), Beef ($115), Chicken ($95), Tuna ($115), and 2 large plates which included Robalo assado em folha de bananeira ($290), and Lombinho de porco ($250). We also ordered the Classic Caipirinha's ($95) for drinks. The drinks, food, and service were absolutely spot on. The food was very delicious with Tuna skewers being the most amazing, and the Lombinho de proco was out of this world. Our only issue with this place is that it's just too expensive.
