Fair enough it seemed at the time but 5 days later the heat was still off and they told me even if they can source the part it will be another week or two and we should look at replacing the boiler. My own gas contractor got a tube kit locally in 15 minutes and fixed it in less than an hour. They left an 86 year old with no heat for more than 5 days for something that could have been fixed in an hour. They were also over $2,000 more for exactly the same new boiler. They then had the audacity to charge my mom $175 after all the stress of having no heat and after she had to pay someone else to fix the problem! I don't like to write harsh reviews about local companies but the owner was made aware and was completely indifferent as to how a customer of 10 years was treated. There are plenty of better companies out there that still care and stand up when things go sideways. This is not one of them - AVOID.

Climate Control was trustworthy and went above and beyond to give me the best price for this purchase, show care for me and my home, and follow up to ensure I was a satisfied customer. The owner himself, Steve, was very responsive to my questions. I felt supported - and that they care about their community, not just a sale. Do not hire 669 Heat! Please share!…read more We recently had a ductless AC installed in our home by 669 Heat. The installation was not in the location requested. Initially the installer tried to make excuses (the centre on the template was not the centre????). Then he admitted it was his first time installing this model and that he made a mistake measuring. I would have appreciated the truth up front. We do understand that everyone makes mistakes. We asked them to correct the installation. The manager came to the house and suggested we move our TV and speaker to make the installation look better. Not the solution we were looking for. A few days later another 669 Heat representative came to the house and it was quickly apparent he was there to get payment and not fix the problem. He was rude and when I asked him not to speak over me he escalated. He threatened to remove the unit and to take us to small claims court. All we wanted was a corrected installation. Please do not hire 669 Heat. They are unprofessional and engage in bad customer service and business practices.

In 2012, Independent Energy Services (IES) specified and installed four (4) PTAC units in my condo…read more This installation was considered advance technology which warranted a heavy installation cost. Fast forward to 2020, these units have started to fail, and we are now learning from IES that these units cannot be repaired. The manufacturer have discontinued these units and a replacement is not available. BTW they charged us to tell us this news!! So IES assured me that they would find a replacement. After 8 weeks of searching, specifying, quoting, and agreeing on pricing, IES now informs me that they have decided not to proceed with this order because owner "Rick" wants nothing to do with our building, and with these units. We have been abandoned!!!! So salesperson "Helene" recommended another Contractor, which was nice! After new contractor review and their discussion with manufacturer, they have concluded that the replacement units specified again by IES will not fit the purpose intended. Someone at IES dropped the overall ball on specifying these units. Not only did you IES waste my time, but they can't even specify the correct replacement units for an original installation specified and installed by IES. This is probably the real reason for the abandonment!! Rest assured that I will do my part to ensure IES incompetence is shared publicly on social media, contractor reviews, and common discussions.
