I received a full set with acrylic nails with Shellac. The nails them self turned out great, however the nail tech started pulling on dead skin around cuticle and broke the skin. Started bleeding. Only put a piece of paper towel on it. No proper first aid provided or thought for infection control. I won't be back. read more

It hurt to put my shoes on when I was done. I would've done a better job painting my toenails. Somehow she started filing the middle of my toe. Like the skin. I was just given a gel polish book of colors and told after the fact it was gel. I will consider this is a wash if I don't get an infection or ingrown toenail. I have been getting my nails done for years while living in Phoenix and Montana. I visited Butte and got my nails done as I had a few chips on my gel nails. The lady from front recommended I try acrylic over gels so I thought I would give it a try. When the nail tech removed the gel polish (and I had gel builder on) she had filed my nails down first (as expected) but then used cuticle trimmers and a nail tip to pull and force the gel up from my natural nail bed. It hurt so bad. I told her it hurt and she did say sorry but then just continued. I told the nail tech that I have never had my gels removed that way and that it was always removed with acetone wrapped in foil. The application of acrylic seemed good and they looked pretty, but my nails and around my cuticles hurt so bad. I fear the damage that may have been done to my natural nails. She was also very fast when filing and left multiple cuts around my cuticles. She also never applied cuticle oil (which was a first) . My nails and around my cuticles just hurt (even 10 hours later and going into the next day) and due to this, I will probably not return. I was charged $70 which I thought was pricey compared to other places that take more time, perform proper techniques and provide more care to your nails. read more

I will never go to K Nails again. -unprofessional finish (sides, top coat, etc) -blotchy/patchy work -they CUT my finger with a super dirty file and it bled -took forever because they stopped multiple times to do someone else's nails before mine were done -left my fingers covered in colored acrylic -they rushed through the whole job -they filed my nails at the payment counter -$85 for a $10 job Next time I'll just wait for Cierra's books to open up at Bustle Salon learned my lesson. read more

Definitely my go to salon from now on. I just moved form Chicago and this salon exceeded my expectations. They did better job than any place I've been in Chicagoland area. Very disappointed with the service. I brought in a simple inspo picture and the tech said he could do it but all along the process I wasn't getting what I wanted and he wasn't listening. Eventually gave up on speaking up about it and walked out with the worst nails I've ever had. Glue and acrylic all over my skin, very thick nails, very poorly done overall. I have been getting my nails done for years (at other salons) and have never had such a terrible experience until K nails. The gal was very rough on my nails. Three of my cuticles bled for over a week, leaving a scar on one of them. It was expensive for the quality received, with a couple of them falling off about a week ago getting them done. I would not recommend for acrylics. read more

When an appointment is scheduled in advance, it would be presumed that the appointment time would be recognized...give or take a few minutes. Waiting while other clients get seated...having one person start the services only to move on to another client leaving the nails incomplete...leaving my 3-year old granddaughter alone at a table with her nails incomplete is unacceptable. read more

Cut my cuticles excessively, no cuticle oil applied or lotion not that I expect that every time this is the third time I've been here but this was by far my worst experience. They took 1 hour and 45minutes to complete a classic pedicure because they kept wandering off. Not impressed and they won't be receiving anymore of our business. read more

Love K Nails. The best salon in town! The nail techs get the same training that Tippi Hendren (actress from "The Birds") gave them way back in the 60's. She couldn't find places to get her nails done and she helped so many struggling Vietnamese single women who couldn't get work back then.
