Since we…read morewere still living out of town when the project kicked off, we needed someone we could trust, and she exceeded every expectation! She is extremely kind and a great communicator, always quick to reply to our many questions. She has a brilliant way of pointing out small details that make a huge impact - she did a wonderful job at recommending things for our remodel that we would have never thought of! We loved the neutral colors that she helped us pick out for the kitchen so much that we decided to go with the same style throughout the rest of the house. With her help, it feels like we are living in a totally new house! Her contractor team was awesome, and she managed them perfectly. Sarah did an amazing job at project managing and making sure that we were always happy with the work that was getting done. We felt supported and informed every step of the way! We really can't recommend Sarah enough, and we can't wait to use her again for future projects!

"I purchased an adjustable bed base and mattress set in March 2022 for $7,597, excluding taxes and…read moreextended warranties from Star Furniture. In December 2025, the mattress began developing a noticeable hump and breaking down on one side. I first filed a claim with Montage, the extended warranty provider, and was told it was denied due to "excessive staining" supposedly caused by animals or medical incontinence--claims that were completely false. After I disputed this and confirmed there were no stains, no pets on the bed, and no medical issues, I was told the mattress itself was only covered by the manufacturer, Tempur-Pedic. I then submitted a claim to Tempur-Pedic with all required photos. My claim was initially delayed because the mattress cover had been removed for washing. After resubmitting photos with the cover in place, the claim was denied within 24 hours for "liquid damage" and "stains." The areas they circled as "stains" were simply part of the mattress cover's design. I requested a physical inspection, but the case was passed to another reviewer who again denied the claim, repeating the same inaccurate reasoning. The mattress is not stained, and it is clear that both the manufacturer and the extended warranty provider use "staining" as a blanket excuse to avoid honoring their warranties. For a product at this price point, the lack of accountability and refusal to address a legitimate defect is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! It's truly a joke. The manufacture's warranty is even worse. You are just taking your chances when you purchase furniture from this company. In total, I spent about $16,000 during this trip and neither the sectional nor the adjustable bed set with the mattress were worth it. I strongly advise others to avoid this company."

8.26.23 I waited to write my review for Star Furniture…read moreuntil we received our delivery. Furniture shopping is a PITA (pain in the ***) We looked for weeks for stuff we liked. We needed living room furniture, bedroom furniture and a new mattress. We stopped in here because they were having their Labor Day sale. 25% off! Ok...let's do this. A real nice lady named Jill Smith helped us. She has worked for Star for 20 yrs, so she knows her furniture. She was able to find everything we were looking for and a few bonus pieces. The bonus items are a new rug and a great leather chair and ottoman on clearance. We have a few items on back order but I'm ok for now. Let me tell you about their delivery guys. This is super important to me. I have had some really terrible delivery guys come to the house lately(Lowe's). So now I'm nerves about all delivery guys. Star furnitures delivery guys were FANTASTIC! They put a "red carpet" down on our floor to protect it while they were bringing our new stuff inside. They were respectful of our home. They picked up all the trash, removed our old furniture and wrapped it up. They donate our old furniture to Salvation Army. I love that! They were careful not to hit the walls and did not drop tools on our floor. I DEFINITELY will be recommend Star furniture to my family and friends. I'm thinking about going back and looking for a coffee table now.

A better-than-average selection of upholstery fabrics with better-than-average prices…read more Don't expect anything fancy here. This, to me, was almost like visiting a warehouse. Cement flooring and seemingly no organization to the fabric displays, so get that notion out of your head and pay attention to the prices and the products instead. I often look for upholstery-grade fabrics. I don't use them for upholstery, but to make tablecloths, since they are the perfect width for rectangular-shaped tables and many of the fabrics can be washed (despite what the care instructions may read). But it's getting increasingly difficult to find reasonably priced material for my purposes now that so many fabric stores have closed. Fabrics & More had quite a bit to offer, and when you wander over to their clearance area to see fabric for $5.99 a yard, you can find some real bargains. Not a huge selection, but still there are things to be had. Cutters are not the most skilled: there are NO cutting tables here. They measure on a roll of sorts and then hack away with scissors. So be prepared to even out your edges if you're like me and just looking to place a seam in what you've bought. Price was right, and you can bet I will be back. Offerings are so much superior to local fabric stores, but I'm sure they don't hold a candle to anything I'd find in town. Still, a great option in this area.

This was listed as SA Interiors, but is not. It is Fabrics and Furniture, located in the same…read morespace as SA was. I know nothing about those people only Fabrics and Furniture. They did my kitchen chairs in a 1900s Boiled Flaxseed Linen, with a 1/4" Lip Jute Cording, Muslin underneath the Linen and the bottom of the seat with the same Muslin and they came out absolutely, incredibly fabulous and were competive with another upholsterer, but they were closer logistically, for me. I also had fabric I ordered elsewhere for a windowbox seat and needed the same cording as my kitchen chairs, but was unable to get it any longer from the manufacture so I finally went in last week to find the two former and wonderful upholsterers were no longer there, but another gentlemen was, Cruz was still there, and a new "Boss Lady". She asked what I was quoted before for the windowbox cushion which we found extremely reasonable, prices for two small antique chairs and two wingbacks and a quote of $20 for a small 10" pillow. She said she was called in to "take over" because they were undercharging. Well, after I pick up my windowbox seat tomorrow and the previously quoted $20 pillow, which will now cost $45, she has lost all my further business. I had another windowbox seat I needed done as well. She will soon find out there are others who do just as beautiful work as the previous two did, at a whole lot less cost to the customer. She nearly doubled my quoted price on wingbacks and my windowbox seat was TRIPLE the original quote! I have company coming so I was stuck with that one. After tomorrow, I won't be back, sadly. I have already contacted the other upholsterer to start on my work and he picks up. It's very unfortunate, but we also need to eat too.

But I just had it with my shabby/broken shutters in my front room and get drapes for my dining room, I decided to give Plan It Design a try. Teresa came to my house and she was awesome! She was very warm & friendly, she put my worries at ease and started throwing out some design ideas. I loved her design style...I was able to trust in her ideas. She has many design packages that I could customize to how much time I needed to have her consulting services. She helped me to select color schemes and design for the window coverings. She coordinated the painting of the front room and dining room. She coordinated everything from installation to final walk through. I love how it all looks, my house looks fabulous! I love coming home to see the great changes. Because I trusted her completely and saw what she already did, we were in the middle of re-designing my daughter's bedroom and decided to consult with her on the project. We had all the bedding, rug, and drapes picked out, but didn't quite get to the walls yet. Teresa came in, took a sample swatch of the colors in my daughter's room, picked out a couple of the colors and matched the colors perfectly. My daughter LOVES her room, LOVES what Teresa was able to do! If you are thinking of using a design consultant but are skeptical like I was, DON'T BE! You will be pleasantly surprised and won't ever regret it. You will be absolutely happy you did!
