I was at easy and not self conscious at all, she help guide posing and would just snap when there was something natural flowing that worked for a photo. I was not impressed with the editing done for final product of the book we received (not sure who did editing). Over all I was satisfied and my husband loved the photos which is all that truly matters; just being a photography student I have my own ideas on editing so I just wasn't as pleased as I was hoping to be. There were some duplicate photos in the book that only the color was changed or photo cropped slightly to tighten the frame. Some blemishes were not edited out as requested (including printing on the bottom of the shoes I wore that was visible in several photos and just not attractive to look at). I fully understand artistic preference and creative differences but again some photos selected for final product were not included, others where just duplicates, specific editing requests were ignores (which just came across lazy and not wanting to do it). I fully enjoyed the experience and my husband loved (still does) the photos but it was not perfect. But if you are wanting to do a shoot I highly recommend it! (Even elsewhere). It can be just what you need to give yourself a good confidence boost and just realize how amazingly beautiful you are!

I went to check out the studio and browse the outfits before I scheduled a shoot. I found out the books start at $249, however they have a mini accordion for $99. Cherish was so great beforehand, at the shoot, and was so patient while I decided what pictures I wanted. Cherish took over 200 pictures of me and surprisingly a lot of them came out fantastic. I loved them before they were even edited. I was super self conscious since I've gained weight but she made me look great. I would definitely do this again and I recommend going through her. Unless you want a book I would get the $29 living social deal. It was worth every penny.

Her team took time to get to know us and figure out what we were comfortable with so it felt natural (we're not the most comfortable in front of the camera but somehow she figured out how to get those sweet in the moment shots without it feeling forced!). The photos turned out stunning. From the formal portraits to our mountain top vows to the sweetest candids she captured of me and my dad and my adorable nieces and nephews there's seriously so many amazing photos to choose from. I also appreciated how organized she was with our formal portrait list keeping it quick and everyone ready to move through those as soon as possible. Cannot recommend her enough. She played music and made champagne cocktails to help make the experience extra special. Katie from Beauty and the Beach did the hair and makeup, and also did an amazing job, even retouching the makeup and playing with different hairstyles with each outfit change. Now for the pictures - I had absolutely no idea what I was doing walking into it. But Rani is so great giving you tips, instructing you, and posing you to get the best angles for your body. She'll even show you poses herself. You could tell she works incredibly hard but also loves what she does. It was so fun feeling like a supermodel for a day and would highly recommend all women experiencing this. And I honestly believe you can't do better than Rani. Her pricing is also very reasonable considering everything her packages include. Some other boudoir photographs may seem a bit cheaper on the surface, but maybe won't include hair and makeup, etc. Overall, boudoir ain't cheap, and to me, feeling safe, comfortable, having fun, AND getting high-quality pictures is well worth it. When I was going through the proofs, I was in awe of my photos and I couldn't even believe that they were of me. She was able to emphasize the better parts of me while minimizing the areas of me that I don't really care for. It's easy to be uncomfortable while taking these kinds of photos but Rani has such a sweet, vibrant personality that I felt like I have known her for ages. She and Heather from Beauty and the Beach (who did the makeup) are a great pair and it was honestly a ton of fun taking these photos. Rani's customer service is also top-notch and after experiencing less than stellar customer service from some other photographers, I am extra appreciative of Rani. She created a beautiful album for me and since she knew I was very busy planning for my wedding, she included all of my photos on a disc "just because". Her packaging for her products is super cute and fun and definitely added the extra "oomph" to her already great work. The lighting in her studio is really ideal for photo shoots and is very flattering. I researched quite a few photographers in the area and Rani was by far the most reasonable, especially for the quality and what is included in her packages. She has a great variety of backgrounds and props/furniture at her disposal in her studio and she was lugging in more backdrops when I came in that day. She really is enthusiastic about her photography and is always on the lookout for something else to include at her studio for her clients. Her communication with me was always prompt, which is always appreciated. I highly encourage everyone to get these done (and soon!).

Casey and her makeup artist Leeya helped me feel so comfortable getting ready. Casey walked me through picking pieces from the wardrobe that worked for me, coached me on how to pose, and managed to make me look so good in the final product even though I laughed through the whole session. I was looking for a photographer who I felt could capture how I wanted things to *feel*, which was a much harder task than I had originally imagined! I absolutely fell in LOVE with Haley's work the second I saw it and then fell in love with HER after getting to speak with her. I wasn't the most traditional of brides and didn't care for the standard wedding shots but had a couple of asks (like a pre-ceremony smoke sesh with my groom); other than that, my directions were just do your thing and MAN did she do her thing! Communication with Haley was great leading up to our wedding. She is so sweet and effortlessly heard what I wanted and reflected it back so I knew we were always on the same page. Day-of, she arrived as if magically, in front of my eyes ready to rock; like a beautiful little photographer fairy. Of course, the wedding was a complete blur but things went off without a hitch. Our pre-ceremony sesh was incredible and Haley was always present throughout the night. We even had a place for her at the dinner table and my uncle STILL raves about how sweet she was! A preview of some black and white shots were delivered while I swear I was still hungover from the wedding day and...I literally BURST into tears so extreme I worried my new husband (omg even now ). Even in black and white, her shots were absolutely stunning. Haley has such a natural eye for photography and she was so perfectly able to capture how our wedding day felt and how we feel about each other. A short while later, she sent samples of color pallet options for our session and delivered the full HUGE gallery a short while after we made our decision. I seriously have no idea how she got so many photos in such a short time period, many of moments I had no idea she was even there for...Again, she's magical.
