This review is long overdue!…read more I have had the pleasure of working with Beth twice. once about 10 years ago and, most recently, a couple of weeks ago. She is absolutely incredible at making you feel comfortable, confident, sexy, and, most importantly, like you're having FUN! I am beyond impressed with her work. Not only is Beth an incredibly talented photographer, but she is also an amazing makeup artist. She did my makeup for both of my shoots, and she also brought in the sweetest hairstylist to take care of my hair. Every detail came together beautifully, and the final results exceeded my expectations both times. If you've ever considered doing a photoshoot for yourself, your significant other, or simply as a way to celebrate yourself, I genuinely cannot recommend Beth enough. She creates such a comfortable and fun environment, and you can truly tell how passionate she is about what she does. Beth is incredibly talented, and she absolutely does not disappoint!

From the…read moreinitial booking process to the day of the shoot, my experience with Pussycat Pinups Boudoir Photography was absolutely amazing. Beth was incredibly patient and took the time to listen to my vision while also offering her professional expertise and creative suggestions. She did my makeup, and a hairstylist styled my hair, making me feel beautiful, glamorous, and confident from the start. Even when I found myself in some funny, awkward poses, Beth made me feel completely comfortable. I trusted her and the process, and I ended up having so much fun! I was able to do multiple outfit changes, and she had a wonderful variety of backgrounds and backdrops to choose from. She created such a welcoming atmosphere with music, laughter, and easy conversation throughout the entire session. One of the things I appreciated most was the value. She offers several great package options, and mine included all of the photos plus a selection of professionally edited images. I also had Beth create a beautiful photo album as a gift for my husband, and he absolutely loved it! If you're considering a boudoir photoshoot, I highly recommend Pussycat Pinups Boudoir Photography. It was an empowering, fun, and unforgettable experience that left me feeling confident and celebrated.

- I AM OVER THE MOON !! -…read more I took a step out of my comfort zone and decided to do a bridal boudoir shoot as a gift to my soon-to-be husband and I'm so incredibly happy that I did. I have no modeling experience and wouldn't consider myself a "natural" or super comfortable in front of the camera, but Jeni made the entire process so warm and welcoming. My nerves vanished the moment we met at the studio and I knew immediately that I was in good hands. She set the mood with music, we talked, we laughed, we played; it was such a fun time and I would tell anyone who is teetering on the edge of booking her, to do themselves a favor and go for it. Jeni saw the vision and DELIVERED. She's fantastic at what she does - she has an incredible eye for detail and knows how to pose you for the most delicious shots. I could see the gears churning during the shoot and seeing the photos come to life was such a joy to witness. Thank you so much Jeni. Our shoot will be something I never forget and I will cherish our photos for the rest of my life!

I was immediately met with a warm welcome, smiles, and laughs, and I felt so comfortable through the entire process. My hair and makeup were so gorgeous, and then after selecting my outfits, we got right into photos. Jeni set the vibes with my favorite music and she helped me feel so confident throughout the whole process. Despite being dressed in lingerie, not once did I feel too vulnerable. Jeni helped me come out of my shell and kept me smiling and laughing the entire time. And my pictures are proof! To sing more praises, her expert posing looks INCREDIBLE in the photos!! I don't know how she does it, but these poses took strength to hold, yet my photos look so natural and relaxed. And the curves she's able to capture and have the lighting hit just right is amazing. Chef's kiss! Jeni is such a joy to work with and I loved how she involved me in her process. She asked me if I'm ok with certain poses, always checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and helped me incorporate some creative props I brought with me (a lightsaber and a violin). Her cues while I was in a pose were enormously helpful as well. She gets all the credit for my popping booty, perky girls, and pointed toes. I feel so beautiful and sexy in my photos and I am so excited for my husband's reaction to them!!

She played music and made champagne cocktails to help make the experience extra special. Katie from Beauty and the Beach did the hair and makeup, and also did an amazing job, even retouching the makeup and playing with different hairstyles with each outfit change. Now for the pictures - I had absolutely no idea what I was doing walking into it. But Rani is so great giving you tips, instructing you, and posing you to get the best angles for your body. She'll even show you poses herself. You could tell she works incredibly hard but also loves what she does. It was so fun feeling like a supermodel for a day and would highly recommend all women experiencing this. And I honestly believe you can't do better than Rani. Her pricing is also very reasonable considering everything her packages include. Some other boudoir photographs may seem a bit cheaper on the surface, but maybe won't include hair and makeup, etc. Overall, boudoir ain't cheap, and to me, feeling safe, comfortable, having fun, AND getting high-quality pictures is well worth it. You won't regret it.

When I was going through the proofs, I was in awe of my photos and I couldn't even believe that they were of me. She was able to emphasize the better parts of me while minimizing the areas of me that I don't really care for. It's easy to be uncomfortable while taking these kinds of photos but Rani has such a sweet, vibrant personality that I felt like I have known her for ages. She and Heather from Beauty and the Beach (who did the makeup) are a great pair and it was honestly a ton of fun taking these photos. Rani's customer service is also top-notch and after experiencing less than stellar customer service from some other photographers, I am extra appreciative of Rani. She created a beautiful album for me and since she knew I was very busy planning for my wedding, she included all of my photos on a disc "just because". Her packaging for her products is super cute and fun and definitely added the extra "oomph" to her already great work. The lighting in her studio is really ideal for photo shoots and is very flattering. I researched quite a few photographers in the area and Rani was by far the most reasonable, especially for the quality and what is included in her packages. She has a great variety of backgrounds and props/furniture at her disposal in her studio and she was lugging in more backdrops when I came in that day. She really is enthusiastic about her photography and is always on the lookout for something else to include at her studio for her clients. Her communication with me was always prompt, which is always appreciated. I highly encourage everyone to get these done (and soon!).

I usually feel super awkward in front of the camera, but I was completely blown away by how incredible the photos turned out. Karen was very easy and reassuring to work with. She made the whole process feel so natural and effortless, and me confident in how I looked. Her direction made posing way less intimidating. She paid attention to every little detail, lighting, hair, makeup, even the room temperature, to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. She also had a great selection of props that really added to the shoot and allowed for a greater photo selection. I also brought a friend with me, which I saw several other boudoir photographers in OC do not allow. She assisted with hair adjustments, posing, and hyped me up the whole time, which made the experience that much better. During the photo viewing (a few days after the shoot), she went through each photo for a yes, maybe, or no, and took notes on how I would or would not like photos to be retouched. She was a very patient and detailed listener to my laundry-list of preferences. As a tip, don't forget to book well in advance of birthdays/holidays if you're doing this as a gift for your S/O. Upon contacting her, it was about a week/a few days for her soonest availability and then a few more days for editing, selecting, and a few more days to receive prints. I was in a huge rush and Karen was kind enough to rush every part of this process so I could have the photos in time for a vacation with my S/O. Overall, I could not speak more highly of Karen, her expertise, quality, and flexibility. I can't thank Karen enough for making this such a great experience, and leaving me with lots of beautiful photos + a huge confidence boost. If you're on the fence about booking, just do it.
