Their mission was to create Gemütlichkeit, which translates in English as coziness. They wanted to offer guests a warm, welcoming atmosphere with great food, laughter, and cheer. Hollerbach's has now grown to Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe, a market that opened in 2011, and this outfitter store next to the market. This charming clothing and gift store has everything you need for your next Bavarian adventure. They sell Hollerbach's branded tees, hats, and accessories, beer steins, German gifts, seasonal merchandise for Oktoberfest, Krampus, and Christmas, dirndls, lederhosen, and traditional Tracht, children's clothing, pet accessories, shoes, hand crated jewelry, and décor. This small store packs a lot in. I especially loved the Krampus merchandise and beautiful dirndls. The more elaborate dresses were between $200 and $300 but I did find a 50 percent off markdown that brought the price down to $100 on one of them. You typically can't find these items unless you order online or got to a festival. It is so nice that you can try on the clothes here with the help of some great customer service. I would love to come back someday and purchase a dirndl for Oktoberfest.

Authentic thick & heavy leather with great embroidered patterns and shirts, shoes & socks to wear with them. Nice, but don't know where I'd have the chance to wear them. Without knowing if it's a year round thing for Hollerbach's but there was a large selection of Christmas merchandise. Nutcrackers, fragile, blown glass ornaments (wanted a couple but didn't want to risk packing them). Plus plenty of pickles for the Christmas tree - you only need one. Prices are on the high side but it's excellent quality stuff.

This particular location…read morewas having a fairly big "all things must go" sale as the store location was closing down. So, alongside my mom, we walked around to see what we could find. It is a much older store location. So, we didn't really find too much of anything that spoke to us. However, I did come up with a really nice comforter set for 70% off. I couldn't pass it up. Beyond that, most of what was probably really a great deal had already been sold. A small, yet successful detour on our mother/daughter day about town.

It's a bummer the mall is closed now but know that J.C. Penny is still open for business!…read more You can't walk through the mall to get to J.C. Penny and the remaining open stores; alternatively, you must drive around to the main entrance of each store location to enter. We stopped in to see what kind of Post Christmas deals we could find and we definitely found some. I picked up some meat claws for $9.99 (Reg Price $18), a pair of relaxed fit jeans for $29.99 (Reg Price $48), a pair of Volcom Chinos for $42 (Reg Price $49.50), Levi's Chino shorts for $34.99 (Reg Price $50), and three Queen Sealy pillows for $30 combined (Reg Price $30 each). There is not a lot of staff on duty, but the ones that are here are doing the best they can and are as friendly as can be. The store is still pretty well organized and clean. Staff does a great job of keeping the displays going and putting things back where they belong when customers move things around; however, they could improve the cleanliness of the fitting rooms. We had some trouble checking out and needed to have the clerk track down our accounts because they recently changed over to a new system. Not a major deal but it slowed down the checkout process. One of the problems I've always had with J.C. Penny is that they never carry button-down collard shirts that actually look cool or have a dressy Rock-n-Roll vibe. If you're a Golfer or a Yacht owner they got everything you need but for a rocker like me all they have is some black jeans and a few band tees. If they could do better in this department I would shop here much more often. All-in-all, an overall great shopping experience, and we will be back next time were shopping in the area.

There's another location at the Altamonte Mall, but I'll say it's a little easier to browse at this store, even though it's a tad smaller. It's an awesome, locally owned shop jam packed with rock memorabilia... 99% of it being band t-shirts. It's literally floor to ceiling t-shirts with a selection sure to appeal to any rock music fan; whether you're into classic rock, new wave, or heavy death metal. Joe and I were quite relieved to see that they'd survived through the pandemic so if you're a fan of band t-shirts, this is the place to go. You can usually get some form of discount too when you buy multiple shirts. The staff are quite friendly and knowledgeable. On our first visit a couple years ago, we met Nico, a fellow Ghost fanatic. It was actually him that let us know there was a Ghost cover band doing a show that we ended up going to and had a blast. The shirts are conveniently displayed around the store in alphabetical order, making it easier to find your favorite band tees. My only gripe is that there is only a very small selection of ladies shirts, thus the 4 stars.

My mother and I returned ready to spend money, and I was immediately saddened by the largest size carried throughout, tops and bottoms - was a L. Either way, I decided to try on an item after being chased down by an associate to "start a room" - while I was holding an item. Never heard her do that to the pencil sized blondes in the rest of the store. Oh well. I'm heavily tattooed, I guess I'm a thief. I shrugged that off, however, the "customer service" of that act fell short. I tried on the item while the rest of the women in the store were fawned over and payed attention to as they boasted their alteration program. When I exited the dressing room, and when I gave the item back to the associate and told her it was too small I got a VERY condescending "sorry!" Nothing more. From there, I just decided to exit and not even try to shop for another item, I had really liked a jacket and a sweater. Never even got a light mention of the other store from looking at these reviews. But why should a girl be sequestered to another store just because you're a bigger size? It's very classist and downright weird. I am deeply saddened and frustrated after leaving this place. Not a girls girl place. At all.
