    Kimchi Fried Rice
    Natalie H.

Thanks to the good reviews on Yelp, I discovered this place and gave it a try. It is in a tucked away location in outer Gresham, but it's worth going to! My mom, sister, and I shared the soy garlic chicken, beef teriyaki, and kimchi fried rice and had lots of food leftover! It made the perfect lunch for us at work today Totally agree with the other reviews that the price is fair for the quality and the large quantity! All of the food was flavorful, presentable even in the to-go box, and was fresh. I will definitely be back to try more things on their large menu!

    Jap Chae

All delicious! Good portions. Soy garlic chicken, seafood pancake, jap chae, bulgogi, spicy pork. Been here 5x the past two months. Always Warmly Welcomed with a smile the moment I step in. Wonderfully polite and the Ladies bring my haul to my car. Still Fresh and tasty even after heavy traffic on 20 minute drive home. Consistent Family Fav now. Next time I have to get something crispy - maybe spring rolls or calamari.

Kimchi trio. Middle is chicken..still kimchi?

First time in. Very sparse interior. Probably could use something's on the walls. Not here for art but food. The service was great. She was totally on top of it and very informative. They start with a trio of kimchi. Actually I'm guess two kimchi and one chicken. All tasty We were offered tea and accepted. Roasted corn tea? Smells like corn on the cob. Unusual but good. Main meals came out super fast. Hot stone bibibbap. Comes with a super tasty soup. Bipinbap was very good also. Only critique is rice is advertised as crispy on bottom. Mine was not. That's OK. Great option if you want a healthy alternative Will return

    Love plant!

I don't leave reviews often, but they deserve it. Firstly, my best friend and I were so happy to finally have a Korean place open near us. She got the soondubujigae with pork and kimchi pancake. I ordered the galbi and japchae, and her mom got the yakisoba. Everything was so generously portioned and flavorful. The galbi marinade was perfect - and tasted grilled. The kimchi pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Japchae and yakisoba noodles were perfect texture and taste too. I don't usually orefer my japchae with bell peppers, but they put in woodesr mushrooms which are my favorite. We appreciated the to-go containers being lined with foil so they wouldn't soak the bottoms. Finally, the owner (I'm assuming) was so so sweet! She asked if we liked kimchi, and gave us extra. I pointed out to my bff that they had a Christmas cactus and she overheard us talking and asked if we liked plants, and proceeded to show us an oxalis plant that she called a 'love plant' because the design of the leaves looks like a heart. And then she gave us the plant!!! So sweet! It's at my best friend's work right now, and she updates me on how it's doing (it's alive). Next time we go, we'll update her as well. But we thought it was so nice for her to give us the plant! She said that she's been waiting to give it to a customer who loves plants. So yeah, definitely coming back here :)

    Seafood pancake

This is a newer spot to Gresham, and one that I'm going to keep coming back to. Food: 5/5. -The seafood pancake had plenty of green onion and seafood. Not greasy, a pleasant surprise! -Osam Bulgogi was a gigantic portion that was nice and spicy. Loaded with squid and pork belly. This was my favorite of the visit. -Kimchi Jji-gae was nice and hot. For $17 I expected a bigger portion, though! This would feed 1 person but would not fill them up. Service: 5/5. They were good to my kid and brought her a miso soup & rice on the house. Very friendly, attentive, constantly checked in. For those of you that frequent Asian restaurants, you know service is very hit or miss. It's a HIT here! Ambiance: 4/5. There's a TV that plays kpop but not much else. It's very "this is a restaurant that has no decor, so the food must be amazing". I will continue to come back and take my friends and family here. It might be slightly pricy but I think with Korean food in the Portland Metro, the prices are typical. Wife and I spent $65ish after tip, but we left very satisfied.

    Spicy pork teriyaki

Definitely recommend this place! the order was quick and yet tasty. This is our second round having dinner takeout from them. And, that means a lot since we are quite two picky foodies here. I ordered extra kimchi! Because it was very delicious last time I had it, and I've been craving for it since. All food came in good portions at a fair price. I love my spicy pork teriyaki. It was juicy and tender. The Soondubu tofu soup with beef was great with lots of ingredients. I am glad that the seafood pancakes came with a dipping sauce. It was a nice place to walk in and smell how authentic the food is. It was worthy to wait for a long time for their grand opening! Thank you and keep up the traditions.

Beef Bulgogi. This comes with rice on the side.

K-Food Grill offered a solid take on beef bulgogi. The beef was tender with a balance of sweet and savory flavor.

Food was so delicious and LARGE portions and came out super quickly. Erica was amazing checking in on us and helping us better understand the menu and options. This for sure will be our new favorite spot.

Service has always been friendly, although on a few occasions it's been quite slow. They typically have K-pop playing with music videos on the tv which is fun. It's a bit pricey, but with it being all-you-can-eat it makes it worth it. Just make sure you come hungry! It is possible to order al a carte though so you don't have to get the all-you-can-eat option. I recommend!

Once seated, if you are lucky to get her, Silvia is amazing. I've seen some hit or miss on service from other reviews, and with her, it's a hit and more! Everything is set up, and she's there to take your first round right away, and comes back often, and by that I mean, watches and even before you know it--is there to ensure you're having a great time or change out the grill. Atmosphere is young, loud (in a good way), and has a bit of a club feel. The food is great! Korean food is pricey even at the grocery store and you'd be hard pressed to replicate this variety at home for the same or a cheaper price in my opinion. We went with the $34.99 a person AYCE and got absolutely stuffed in about an hour. Their kimchee is on the fresh side, if that makes sense, which I prefer with BBQ vs a longer ferment. All other sides are fantastic and meat quality is excellent.

Once our party was seated, we immediately filled out our order. Some items were missed and had to be reminded, but they were nice about it most times. Sides for veggies were plenty, along with the portions of meat. Our grill was changed out a couple times, which was great. Drink refills were offered with no hesitation. I did think it was kind of oddly funny that when we gave one of the waitresses our order, I asked her at the end if she could give us another round of banchan when she could. Not sure what she said but her eyes kind of rolled LOL. I really didn't care. Hope her night got better! Hopefully they can get more staffing. It would surely be a bigger hit. Don't forget to shower afterwards cause that meat sweat smell from the many vents will absorb on your clothes/hair. Fair warning :) Until then, we will return!

You basically decide on a price tier...the higher the price, the wider the variety of items available, and the higher the quality. Each table has a set amount of time to order from when the order is placed, and you're limited to how many items you can order at any given time. Items ordered are (mostly) raw, and patrons cook the items themselves on a "grill" (basically, a gas-fired steel plate in the center of the table) when items arrive. As the steel plates invariably get encrusted with meat juices (and marinades), staff brings a clean (and cold) plate. The above is the experience...cooking and sharing food with friends is undeniably fun and enjoyable. Another part of the experience is the smoke that will permeate your clothes, hair, winter jacket, etc. Just keep this in mind, and consider scheduling it around when you may need to launder your cold-weather outerwear. The staff were extremely friendly and prompt, and the establishment is very clean.
