K-bee gets a 5 star rating from me. I first had Schroeder brothers in Sheboygan put in the windows in the upper part of my home, very disappointing, had ice cycles hanging down where the window latches are, windows sometimes catch and have problems going down all the way and had them back twice for the bad caulk job and it still looks terrible. Because of being disappointed in Schroeder brothers I decided to go with a different contractor for my lower windows and I'm so glad I did, better price triple pane instead of double and much better workman ship. I only wish I would have had K-bee do all the windows in my house. I will post some pictures of the Schroeder brothers windows and of the K-bee windows and you can decide for your self which one you would want. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS to avoid headaches. Hired them to do our windows. Really no complaints so we hired them for other jobs. Siding was not bad but the metal roof was a disaster. Every job is sub contracted out. When we called to complain we were lied to time after time. Roofers damage things. They did a lousy job of sealing and when we would call -our calls were ignored or Joe would act stupid and ask us for our address. Really you were only here 8 or 9 times. Complaints are too numerous to list. This so called company wasted enough of our time. read more

I accepted K-Bee's offer/deal for putting vinyl siding over my stucco. Owner seemed knowledgeable about how it all needed to be done. I asked him if he had his own crew, I didn't want to deal with "storm chaser's" a family member had a bad experience with a business who used them. He said he had his own crew and they were good. Their website claims they have "Expert Installers" Well soon after contract was signed, problems already started with getting the "workers" to show up. I made several arrangements to my schedule to have them get started, and they just never showed up. After getting mad, owner sent someone to my house to see what was going on. And of course.... they are All "storm chasers" He kept telling me lie after lie and the "excuses" kept getting more ridiculous as time went on about why they weren't there. I finally just asked him to leave. Well owner was finally able to get me another crew, and I once again made time to be here and make sure everyone was knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I already figured out that I will need to "babysit" this business. They were supposed to show up at noon, well that ended up to be after 5pm, then they realized there was no hardware sent with the job, so they couldn't get started. I was seriously annoyed by that time. They finally show up next day, I was told they get started early, well another lie, they show up when ever they get there... some days it's 9am, other days it was close to noon, and some days they don't show up at all. A couple of days they did work pretty late though, I give them credit for that. Crew leader was not there for a lot of the time, he took a "side job" on the weekend and was supposed to be done and come back on Monday, well that didn't happen. That leader who basically communicated to me and the crew ended up never coming back after his "side job" Contract was extremely generic, I didn't think it was going to be a big deal (owner wrote it) Well, I was very wrong.... Another guy came to house to deliver hardware that was needed and he saw things right away that weren't right with the job, he asked me "if I wanted things like this" I said "No" but shouldn't owner have known things weren't written correctly on contract. He never added ground breaker for the side of my house by driveway, owner's idea was to let about 6 inches of stucco hang out from the bottom of the vinyl. We argued about contract because other things had to be changed and re-ordered to correct the bad business decisions, he then wanted me to pay for all the changes, he said he didn't want to "eat all those costs" I refused to pay anymore than was agreed upon and It's a good thing I was there everyday through this process to babysit or my house would have looked terrible. Necessary items were not included, other items were shorted and don't even get me started on the hardware issues. I asked for a discount for the troubles I had, he ignored my calls and requests for someone to come out to look at some things that needed to be done. He refused a discount and threatened to pull the guys off the job " If I was that unhappy." I noticed a few things that I didn't like, osb board showing on spots, owner said those can just be "painted" I was not happy with that. Workers were able to put small scraps in some of the spots to cover that but not all of them. There are spots that they put white aluminum on instead of vinyl, but didn't explain why. When asked about it they said they couldn't get vinyl to stay on in those spots. Owner kept wanting to paint them to match vinyl. After a few discussions about it, after job was completed , I called to discuss those few spots again, owner said he would go to Sherwin Williams the next day to get paint and find someone to paint them for me so they match the vinyl. Well that never happened, I reached out to them about a week or so after that to ask where the paint and painter is, and he never responded. I just decided to leave those spots now, I don't want someone so unprofessional even trying to fix it now. He never intended on fixing it anyways and I think I am better off not having them come back. I have also noticed a couple of more spots where osb board is visible on the bottom of the siding, they are small areas but I will always be worried about moisture and possibility of that rotting. I have no way of covering those spots and all I can do is hope that the rain, humidity and eventually snow doesn't end up getting up inside of those spots and start to rot the osb board. After all of this nonsense with this company, I CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM. Siding looks good and I get a lot of compliments but I hate to think about what it would have looked like if I wasn't there to make sure owner fixed his own contract mistakes. Workers would have did only what was on contract and it would have looked awful, and after they are paid... you will never get them to fix it read more

We replaced all of the windows in our home. After a sales pitch that required a "right now amazing deal" situation, we decided to go with them. The salesperson measured, and then another person came to measure, to "make sure the windows are the right size." Great! However, EVERY WINDOW IS TOO SMALL. The installers put these windows in, and then went and bought unstained wooden "trim" to fill the gaps around the windows and told us we could stain it later to match the real trim. Um, what??? As if that is not bad enough, on one of the windows, the top window will not stay in place when opened from the bottom. On two of the living room windows, they may or may not lock, if you are able to do the correct amount of pressure on the windows. Usually, with some pressure and acrobatics, we can get them locked. Finally, one (despite pressure and acrobatics) will not lock at all. Several calls have been unanswered. Up until the time of install, communication was good. We will happily change this review if our issues are addressed. But currently, would NOT recommend. read more

Our house was built in 1953. The original windows were leaking air like a sieve. We decided to replace all of the windows. We got several estimates; and decided on K Bee. They sent out a technician named Rick. He was a dynamo of a worker. In three days the job was done. Didn't disturb any of the trim and did a great job. We now have triple pane argon filled windows. Many neighbors have complimented our new windows. A couple have called K Bee to get estimates. The new windows really improved the look of our house. They also gave us a lifetime warranty that can be passed on to anyone we might sell the house to. They told us if anything happens to the windows don't call our insurance; but call them and they will fix any damage. Wisconsin winters can be brutal. We now have highly efficient windows and a new furnace. We are ready. Their prices were high; but you get what you pay for. read more
