After getting a few quotes we went with Professional Water Systems and I couldn't be happier with their service. A technician came out quickly and tested everything. Unlike the Culligan guy ( who quotes us 3x the price too) these guys found that only our iron filter was bad and the other part of our problem was coming from our water heater. They replaced our iron filter ( for a good deal) and fixed the problem with our water heater for free. Instead of $2000 for the other guy ( or $3400 for Culligan) we spent around $900. The work was done quickly and cleanly. The technician was polite and on time. The new iron filter has been working great. I will definitely go to these guys for any future issues we may have.

We purchased a culligan water softener system since we were so familiar with it in our business. We owned a Bed and Breakfast with 6 double whirlpools so lots of softened water was used. When we moved into our new home last year I noticed that the water softener pellets were just not moving. We called and had it repaired. The service fee was $139.00. Last month I had to call culligan again because again the salt was not going down. Once again they repaired it (the part was under warranty) but we still paid $130.00. I completed a survey that culligan sent and I gave them a 5 out of 10. The service was excellent but I was dissapointed that I had 2 service calls on a fairly new unit. A customer service rep contacted me which was surprising and he was genuinely concerned that I was not 100 per cent satisfied. He looked up my repair history and yesterday I recieved a check in the mail in the full amount of both repairs. They did not have to do this but they did. I was and am very impressed at the level of customer service. Culligan is a good product but it is subject to repairs on occassion, what product isn't ? The fact that they stood behind it and wanted to keep a happy customer with 2 full refunds is above and beyond. Both as it turns out are plumbers by trade, which gave us confidence in the work they performed. They were responsive, punctual and respectful both answering questions by email and while on site. Joe and Dave immediately removed their shoes when arriving without even being asked. This is something that seems rare these days when working with contractors. There was no high pressure sales or scare tactics during the initial sales visit. They arrived on time, tested our water and Joe provided his initial suggestions on a system. I appreciated this approach as I was expecting just a salesman who didn't know much about specifics on the install and pressure to make the sale that day due to "the today only special" or "oh my, your levels are very high....". I had specific questions on the installation of the system as we required a couple of extra plumbing considerations and Joe was able to take a look and said "no problem, we can take care of that". He provided a quote promptly following the visit with a list of options itemized so we could select the type of system. Once we gave the green light, the install date was quick and the day of install things went well. They even took a look at a small leak we had on a sink and fixed it which was outside the scope of the original work and when offered extra money for their time, they refused. We are very happy with our experience with Pure Water Solutions. We found them by referral on our hometown's Facebook group and we were not disappointed. It is great to find a small business which allows you to work directly with the owner(s) and who truly take pride in doing a good job and building their reputation.
