However, a few months ago I took them my DRW Ram truck which had a problem with a factory recall related to the over tightening of the lugs which resulted in one wheel almost coming off. Again, they are truck experts and did a great job. My concern was that when I dropped off the truck I was quoted approximately $400. This was a strain on my finances at the time, but I knew I needed it taken care of. When the owner finally contacted me to let me know the truck was done the price had gone up to $2500! I understand that more needed to be done and that mechanics are expensive, but I SHOULD have been contacted BEFORE the bill went that high! I was very upset since I didn't have $2500! Luckily I was able to borrow the money in order to get my truck back. As a woman I always feel like I'm a prime target when it comes to vehicle repairs. I should not need to tell them in advance to notify me if more work needed to be done so I could approve it.

I call the closest chevy dealer that turned out to be Lindwall in Iron River, MI. It's Saturday and they are closing in one hour. I cannot possibly tell how great they were to me. The service manager told me he would do everything he could to fix my problem despite all the mechanics being gone for the holiday. Turned out, a mechanic was willing to come in and help me. They were so kind they were even refusing to charge me. I of course paid them something. The mechanic even gave me his home number in case my truck acted up again and I needed help when the business was closed. This dealership is unbelievable.
