For me, it's really hard to work around my husbands schedule and we have a 3yo and it a just us here so we don't have anyone to leave our son with. With COVID they are taking extra precautions which is a safe practice. I can appreciate the safety measure. When I arrived they took me back fairly quickly which was a nice surprise. I brought my last six months xrays as I can't afford to have xrays done every time, they did accept them and read them as well. Everything looked good Dr. Reese let me know, she checked my gums and implants and gave me some really good care instruction in my implants that I'd never heard before. I've only had them about two years. She did go on to let me know she thought they could squeeze my cleaning in during my current appointment which I was thrilled to learn. That makes it so much easier for my family than coming back again. Very grateful. My hygienist was super friendly but not in an awkward I need to make conversation with this patient kind of way. Very genuine and loved that! My only gripe... wish I could bring my young in' but I understand kiddos are kind of a niche specialty when it comes to dentistry :). They were able to recommend someone in Midland. Definitely will look forward to my next visit. Oh! And Ashley up front was wonderful too. Very helpful with quotes for other services. I told them I did not want to do xrays. The dentist told me she would not do the cleaning without doing the xrays. She said she didn't know what the problem was since insurance was going to pay for it. I told her fine, but I am not paying for anything, so she better be sure insurance pays it. She literally traced my gumline and was finished. I told her I have had my teeth cleaned for 40 years and never has it been that easy. The ortho was not available to place it back on. I explained that the wire was poking the lip and they suggested to call the nearest sister dental facility (family dental in another town). The other location stated they are unable to see my child because they "don't touch another ortho's work." I call this location back and they suggested to call another location because what she stated was true. It made no sense! My child waited for two weeks to get it fixed. Last night the bracket came off the tooth due to playing rough with a sibling (kids are kids ‍). I called them to have it put back and of course, they don't have the tool to place the bracket back on because why would they right? It's frustrating paying for such an expensive service and not being accessible when needed. Also, we're on our 2nd ortho because the first one just disappeared without warning and our new ortho had no idea about our child's treatment plan. I can never set an appointment with them while we are there because their system is constantly down. They have also guided us to a room and left inappropriate (adult shows) on their television for the 8yr old patient. I had to ask them to turn it off. Someone asked me where my child goes for their dental work and I told them to not come here. The experience this place offers really affects the business.

Some of the things I look at when choosing a Dentist include: new dental technologies, experience of the dental team and a clean and modern facility. I definitely made the right choice! Newest dental technologies are important to me because it means the dental team has the latest and greatest equipment to care for their patients. One piece of technology I especially look for is the availability of SAME DAY Dentistry (usually used when talking about crowns). Typically, getting a crown takes messy impressions and then WEEKS of waiting while the lab creates the crown. With same day dentistry, the Dentist will scan your tooth and the crown is made THAT DAY, IN OFFICE and places it before you leave saving TONS of wait time. I'm familiar with the CEREC system but I believe Dr. Bell mentions a E4D but it appears to be similar. Other technology that I noticed at this office include an easier/quicker digital Xray system, intraoral cameras, etc. You can always have a wonderful staff but if their equipment is from 1960, that concerns me. So once I know the technology appears to be "up to my standards" I look at the staff. Luckily, Dr. Bell and his staff are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Dr. Bell has excellent bedside manner. He's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. A new Dentist has joined the team, her name is Dr. Mohn and she is great as well! I've had the pleasure of having Courtney and Monica as my dental hygienists and they're both AMAZING. They were equally awesome with our daughter's FIRST DENTAL VISITS (which can sometimes be traumatic for kids)!!! I LOVE that there was no need for us to go to a specialized pediatric dentist! To round off our amazing experience here, Health Centered Dentistry has a beautiful, clean and modern office. The waiting room is gorgeous and comfortable! The team appears to follow all guidelines keeping their patients safe and healthy! I highly recommend Health Centered Dentistry!

The extraction was done and a bone graft was done in that area with an active infection. At that point, Dr. Galloway said goodbye. I went by the pharmacy in Odessa to have a prescription filled for mild pain - nothing for infection. While waiting in the drive through lane I realized the prescription given to me was for a different patient. I drove through and headed home. By that time I was freezing and shaking uncontrollably. I am an elderly widow and live alone. About 3 hours later my son came (he lives in Weatherford and had a business appointment the next morning) and found me on the floor unable to get up or to use phone. He called 911 and I was taken to the hospital. The diagnosis was severe sepsis. I was in the hospital for 5 days and on IV antibiotics for most of that time. None of that would have happened if the infection had of been handled appropriately. I am alive only because my son had an appointment the next morning in Odessa and was going to spend the night at my home.

I told her three times that the veneer felt uneven and was hitting my other tooth. On the third time, instead of adjusting the veneer, she sanded down my actual tooth. After that, it became uneven, sensitive, and just didn't look right. When I got home, I realized the veneer didn't match my other teeth at all--it looked yellow and stuck out from the side. To make things worse, the temporary tooth they gave me looked better than the permanent one I paid $800 for. I called the office right away, but they told me there was nothing they could do since I had already left. As a college student who pays for everything out of pocket, I'm honestly upset and hurt.
