I would always go so they can give my small dog a haircut. Usually it would always be great she would come home fine with energy. 12-9-19 I took my dog in the morning, she was there most of the day. But when we got her she got the same haircut as always when we requested something more fluffy. Which it's okay I understand if they couldn't. But my dog cries out of pain when I grab her. When she tries to jump. I saw that there's a red patch on my stomach, she keeps licking her paws and grabbing her from under her arms hurts her. When she moves she cries. My dog is very friendly and happy all the time. Now she's just in bed. I don't know what they did to her but they hurt my dog pretty bad. Watch out

I got a puppy a few months ago, and the hardest thing is cutting his nails since he moves around a lot. I found the perfect place that is dog and customer friendly. And the p4ices are just right. Cutting nails is about $10 and a bath and nauls is $29. Of course the larger the dog, the higher the price. This is my go to for getting my puppy's nail cut. I called aroynd the mobile vets and they average $30 or more. I figure I might as well take my puppy for a short drive to get his nails cut. The best part is you can walk in for cutting nails. If you need to get a bath then an appointment is recommended. The store is close Sunday and Monday. read more

This was my first time taking my dog to the groomers and we were both very nervous about the appointment. The staff were so kind and reassuring on multiple occasions, answering all my questions and took note of my worries. Prices were better than reasonable and they even sent her home with a cute bandana. Definitely my go to groomers from now on. read more

I was soooo impressed with this place! My dog has never been to the groomer and I was a bit worried about how he would react. The guy at the front (I think he is the owner) did everything he could to set my mind at ease and make me and my dog feel comfortable. The service was quick too. It wasn't the kind of place where you're waiting all day for your dog. When I picked up my dog, not only did he look the best he ever has, but he was happy and relaxed. They do not secure their cages well. My dog got loose on June 14 and escaped out the front door. We are still trying to find him.

I was recently visiting from out of town and decided to have my dog groomed while I was in El Paso. K-9 Kuts was recommended to me by a family member. I have a 10-11 year-old Maltipoo who requires gentle handling as she has arthritis and a bad hip. I have been hesitant to have her groomed where I live in Seal Beach CA because I can't count on the groomers to be extra gentle. The wonderful young lady at K-9 Kuts, I believe her name is Alexis, was so patient, kind and understanding to my needs. She made me aware that she would need to shave my dog down due to matting but said she would try not to shave her too short. She also recommended a medicated flea/tick bath for my dog because she noticed remnants of flea/ticks on her. She also let me know that they have oral flea/tick medication available for purchase so my dog would be protected during her time in El Paso. I am so appreciative of the great service I received at K-9 Kuts. I wish we had this kind of service in California. read more

The quality has been on a decline for a couple years at this point. They allegedly only have one groomer who works one day a week, which truly sucks. My dog became cage aggressive as a result of the very first groomer we encountered here to start (can't remember her name) which was never an issue any other time she had been groomed elsewhere. Most recently, I had called to set an appointment for her yearly vaccines in anticipation of getting her groomed. When I requested the grooming appointment, I was told that because HE (they consistently say he when my dog is female) is cage aggressive she needs to be with an experienced groomer. This experienced groomer is also the only one available, who only works Wednesdays. This call was made at the beginning of June, and the appointment wouldn't be until June 25th. Fine, I'm okay with waiting. The 23rd rolls around and I still have yet to receive the email reminder, so I decide to call and see what was going on. The girl who picked up the phone checks the schedule and sees no appointment for my dog, and offers to reschedule for the experienced groomer on July 9th. I had already waited so long for the original appointment that I'm starting to get annoyed. I accept the appointment for July 9th. My husband then texts me that the appointment was canceled, due to the groomer being sick. GREAT. When can she get groomed? They're not sure, needed to see if they could squeeze HIM (again my dog is female, she's been groomed here for years, and they can literally see it says female on her profile) in with the manager. I'm already annoyed as it is so I ask what the solution here is, how soon I'd have to call back. I'm told they'll call me when they have a solution. Well I figured out MY solution. I went to a different groomer.

Weeks before the…read moreprocedure, Dr. German examined the papillomas on my pet's back-left leg and recommended that they be removed. This procedure was specifically scheduled as a follow-up to his evaluation and recommendation. On the day of the procedure, I clearly marked the papillomas and verbally told the staff member who took in my pet not to miss the papillomas on her back-left leg, which opens and bleeds constantly, and was the sole reason for the first visit. Despite this, the scheduled removal of the papillomas on the back leg was missed. When I discussed what happened, the front-desk employee repeatedly insisted that the area had not been marked, blamed me, and called me a liar over the phone. When I explained that the procedure had been scheduled based on Dr. German previous examination and recommendation, I was told that he sees many animals and cannot be expected to remember everything. However, this information should have been documented in my pet's medical records and confirmed before the procedure. Instead of listening to my concerns and discussing how the situation could be corrected, the employee argued with me. There was no attempt to accept responsibility, review the records, or offer a solution. I have trusted this veterinary practice with my pets for years, so the lack of concern, professionalism, and appreciation for my continued business was especially disappointing. I asked for Dr. German to call me and provided my phone number, but I have not received a return call. Mistakes or misunderstandings can happen, but how a business responds matters. I expected compassion, accountability, and a willingness to work toward a solution. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I will be taking my pets elsewhere.

This was the first time I went to this particular vet clinic, and it was right before 4th of July…read moreweekend on the 2nd. It started off good, I was glad they saw my cat as a walk in, and I liked the hours being open later than most vets, and the prices were decent. Then it got worse, I had come in for a urinalysis, because she had stained to pee but her staining had stopped once I changed her litter, still I wanted to be safe than sorry and make sure for my own peace of mind, and heard it's better to catch things early. Now my cat is a healthy cat and this is the first time EVER in her life she showed any signs of anything, and other than that she had no other symptom, she is active and eats and drinks well. Anyway, they wanted to treat her ear infection which is not what I came in for but I said ok. The gave her a steroid for inflammation too. Now here is the odd thing, the doctor said she has a UTI, but the assistant said she doesn't but wanted to treat her for it anyway. Then when I brought her home the true horror of the visit began to unfold. She was lethargic and wouldn't eat or drink, struggling just to keep her head up at times, she was stumbling and falling over when attempting to walk, and crying. So what the hell happened Did they flood her ear drowning it, because it's over a week later and she still shakes her head and is a little off balance, although better than before. That day, I called the vet and asked about the sedation they gave her, they said they didn't give her any sedation, they said to stop her medicine implying that's the reason for her sudden tragic condition, I told them I didn't give her anything and that's true. Then they said she's like that because of the condition she came in with. Did I just hear them correctly I thought, I told them her condition was not this severe when I brought her in. At that point I was pissed with that commit! Then I monitored her a few days, waiting and hoping for recovery In addition to flooding her ear, I think she might have had a bad reaction to the steroid they gave her called Depo Medral 20 ml injectio, which I heard is a last resort drug, and why the highest dose. Anyway, I called them and had to call back 3 times asking for her urinalysis report. When I finally got it there was nothing in there that said she had a UTI, no bacteria, the lady on the phone volunteered that "she had too much protein in her urine so maybe that's why the doctor said she had a UTI". Ok I dont think that's a UTI, but whatever. I asked for a different medication for the antibiotic they prescribed for the UTI because she refused to take it, and they said I would need another appointment and a new evaluation. I said that she never even started the med though, they said still. Funny thing about this med is that initially in the visit, they said if I paid more for the "better meds" they would administer it, but if they gave me the cheaper ones I would have to administer it. I paid for the more expensive meds, but still had to administer it myself, for the supposed UTI. Now I also forgot to mention that I told them when I had the initial visit that she is impossible to capture to take to a vet in the first place so I wouldn't be going back. Now that it seems she may not have had a UTI, I start to wonder if she even had an ear infection or if she suffered for no reason so they could change me for something else. This whole experience was a nightmare and I am shocked by their lack of compassion and concern. It's all about money and how much they can charge you for. Don't go here, unless you have money to spend and don't care about the quality of service, or even proper diagnosis, or worse yet you might leave with your pet in worse condition than they came in with, like I did.

I was introduced to K9Kutz when I was fostering Fester a 165+ lb Newfie who was a hot mess! In less than 4 hours, they gave me back a handsome giant who was just adorable! Since then, I have used them for my own dogs & they are amazing! Even with the very timid ones and 1st timers. I recently adopted a rough collie and she was impacted to the skin. They worked on her first before calling to tell me the news that she needed to be shaved. They do tend to be booked, so getting in can be a few days to wait. But definitely worth it! Cost wise, they are some of the lowest in town! They are now my go to groomers when I have to bring mine in. read more
