Decided to try out a new car-wash I haven't been to. Paid for the $10 car wash & it didn't even wash HALF the car!!! Undercarriage was still dirty like it didn't even go thru a wash.The total wait time in the wash stall was probably under 4 minutes!!! I've had some dog wash emergencies when my dog rolled around in something and I needed my dog washed asap. I was going to the do it yourself dog wash at Chow Down but had a hard time getting in last minute because they where so booked up. Biggest thing is you gotta bring your own towels and grooming brush. I usually get in immediately. If I had to wait, it was never for long. And the owner was always incredibly prompt. I'm cleaning up the area for the next client. I've had nothing but amazing service from the owner. You can't make everyone happy. My car was still dirty once I went through the automated car wash. After I parked my car to inspect, I looked for a contact number for a refund. The "emergency/after hours" number was an automated full voice mail box. BOY, I WONDER WHY? After calling a few times per day and getting frustrated, I stopped by the K9 Kar Wash in person to ask for a refund. I guess I talked to the owner. He said that they do not have a phone number. (why is there one listed?) He gave me $8.00 in cash without trying to make the situation better, zero customer service to reclean my still dirty car. I recommend saving you a headache as I had and just go somewhere else. read more

Not impressed. I don't like being charged by the minute, the water wasn't warm for the first five mins, the tubs should be deeper (this seems obvious), and the dryer was powerful enough to dry a purse dog (maybe) but certainly not my 85 lb yellow lab. Come prepared with all your own tools and towels. We're from Denver where Wag 'n Wash rules the town. Please come here WNW!!! For $15 you're provided the cleanest tubs, all the brushes and tools you'll need, an assortment of shampoos and conditioners, as many towels as you need, and a powerful, fast blow dry. HORRIBLE Customer Service by the owner! Having gone here before I have not had an issue however today the time stopped after 8 minutes before I could rinse my dog. I ended up sliding card again hoping I could talk to someone in office after as I was not going to leave my dog in the stall. The water would not turn on but the time started counting. Called the number thinking it was for the office and got the owner who insisted there had to be water and when I asked if someone could come look at it he swore and said he'd come down and hung up. While waiting the guy working came out,who was very pleasant, and when he knew "mike" was coming said he could fix it. This guy came and insisted again it couldn't have stopped. He tried his card a couple of times and finally got it to work and I told him that counting time is exactly what it had done for me with no water. He insisted it didn't take the card and no time counted and actually accused my dog of hitting the stop button. He went to ck and came back saying I shouldn't have two charges and Cont. to deny it was ever running the time. I took my dog home and looked at my bank statement and sure enough 2 charges for $8 so got jipped out of $8, had to deal with a rude owner and take my dog home to rinse him off and Dry him. I understand that machines malfunction and the guy working there was great but I would never use this place again after dealing with the rude owner. read more

This place is right next to my house, so I decided to check it out. I only needed to wash the hood of my car because of bird droppings, so I used the foam scrubber, BIG MISTAKE. When it was all done, there were (and still are) orange/pink streaks (the color of the foam) all over my hood. I talked to what I assume was the owner and he came out and rescrubbed and rinsed the hood to no avail then told me that it didnt come from their foam. After arguing about it for a while, With the frustration and the heat, I just said forget it and left with no apology or refund or anything from the worker. I am never going back there again and I warn you all not to go there, unless you have an orange/pink car so you wont notice the streaks. read more

Great concept, poor execution. The place is a mess! I brought my Dane here a few times (where else are you going to wash a Great Dane?) but the last time he decided the ramps were terrifying and bolted out the door the useless caretaker had left wide open, probably to let the stink out. Luckily, I was able to round him up before he was hit by a car on the nearby busy street. It reeks of wet stinky dog and there is hair absolutely everywhere. DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS ONE RED CENT!!!!! COMPLETELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL, without even talking to me, just started aggressively pointing fingers at me! Unbelievable, I pull up to wash my dog. I Park, and this man comes running over like something was wrong. He says the dog wash closes at 5:00. It was 4:52, I said ok I didn't know your hours, I apologize. Then the guys says, "Besides you have TWO DOGS, and I wouldn't go to your place of business this close to closing and do that to you or anyone else". Wow, the guy was super rude and aggressive. I said, "I apologize I really was only going to wash one dog." I couldn't believe his aggressive behavior... oh my gosh. I asked him if he was the Manager? He replied, "IM THE OWNER!" I said no problem, I'll go elsewhere, actually to Chow Down where they're super nice, inexpensive, don't CHARGE by the minute and show respect and kindness to their customers. read more

I'm a little surprised by the other reviews. I have never found the place to be anything other than clean and well tended, and the people who have helped there have always been friendly, both to me and my dog. My biggest complaint is that it takes too long for the warm (not hot) water to start. I either start washing my dog with cold water, or I wait for the warm water to start, during which time I am being charged for the time. read more

I'm from Denver. Went through the car wash 2 weeks ago to get off some mud--nothing heavy, didn't use the brush--that got on the car after driving to a wedding on the Grand Mesa (Note: I don't have a 4WD, so this wasn't off-road type dirt). I used my cc to pay for the wash. When the charge showed up at my bank, it was much more than I believe I saw on the scanner screen. I attempted to call two different numbers to inquire about the charge, including the number listed here on Yelp, and both are out of service. I am disputing the charge with my bank. But really--is this any way to run a business? Don't they get it that people read these reviews? I was just wanting to get my car clean--not have a hassle. read more

The K-9 Kar Wash is located on the side of a self-serve car wash. It was great when it opened, but has gone straight downhill since then. It is convenient, well-located, heated inside and I like the ramps up to the tubs so the dog can walk up without our having to pick him up. I also like the rubber aprons they give so you don't get soaked while washing your dog. When it first opened, it was very clean and well-tended, and they offered little towels to dry the dogs and chew treats for the dogs. Now it seems like they don't care about it any more. The place is full of dog hair, both in the tubs and on the floor. The tubs are often choked with dog hair. You need $8.00 worth of quarters to get the equipment started, or you can use a credit or debit card, but watch out -- the place will keep charging you until to you push a big, red "STOP" button, which people don't know to do. The place gets the job done, but could use better tending and be kept cleaner. read more

Snow on the ground and my dog needed a bath badly! Went to K-9 carwash thinking... "this will be great! An indoor place I can wash my dog, brush him, towel dry him and get rid of the stink!" My dog, an 80lb. Rottweiler/lab mix loves the water and is always so calm taking baths at home, turned into a scared pansy! I had to pick him up into the tub because he was afraid of it for starters. The ramp is designed for little dogs. The employee/owner? showed me how to work everything so I slid my debit card and started to wash. Cold water for about four minutes then it FINALLY got warm. My dog was shaking cold! The stainless tub made a loud pop and scared my dog like a gun went off. By this point he was shaking so bad and I was trying to hurry and get my monies worth being charged by the minute, what a stress! Spraying soapy water on my dog and trying to use my fingers like a brush to scrub him (there were NO brushes) Hurry, hurry, hurry! Times adding up and ticking away like never before!! I rinsed him off really quick, there are no towels, the dryer blows like a crappy old leaf blower and I thought forget this place, I'll do it at home in the yard nice and calm and enjoyable like it should be. Pressed the stop button after 8 minutes, costing me $8.14, my dog jumped out of the tub and out the door we went. He never wanted out of a place so bad in his life. Took him home and washed him again in the yard (thankfully I have warm water, brushes and towels) Happy dog, pissed off never again customer! read more
