We brought our 3 pets there to have their winter coats removed, nails and glands done. Appointment was at 11:30 A.M.. Said it was going to take them until 2:30 P.M.(3 hrs.- 1 hour per dog). Ok. NP. I called @ 3 to inquire if they were ready yet. The owner answered. I asked her if they were ready and she replied "no". I said you said that it would take 3 hours. Why so long? Her response: "I feel like I'm being pressured here. You have no idea what I have to do to get them done. I don't know what you do at your job but mine is very hard. Oh, whatever, just come pick them up now." and hung up. Talk about being unprofessional. I called back. I said: "What was that all about? Hanging up on me? All I did was to inquire as to why it took so long. No, I don't know what you do to them, ergo why I asked the question in the first place. I wasn't going to be rude, but after that little meltdown you just had, I am now! A professional would have handled that situation with respect. I WAS simply a customer with a simple inquiry. You're response to a simple question was way out of line! It was uncalled for, unjustified, unwarranted and just plain rude. I WILL be up to pick my dogs up now and they won't be back again!" ....and I hung up on her. When we got there, my wife went in to pick up our 3 chihuahuas. My wife said that she heard the owner screaming at the top of her lungs at some dogs out back. There was a loud crash as something hit the floor. Her assistant came out along with 2 of our dogs, then the door closed. The door opened and our 3rd dog came out and the owner said to her assistant:" Just give her the leashes and she can put her own dogs on them, and the door slammed behind her. Totally unprofessional and crude at best. As for the dogs? It was a rushed job. It was obvious that she rushed through them as tufts of uncut hair were evident throughout their coats and their tails were not even done properly. If you appreciate proper and professional pet grooming and care, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE!! **On a side note, the lawn near the pet service entrance was covered in dog crap that had been there for a while and there was a nasty odor both outside and inside the facility. read more
