We arrived 15mins before the shop opened, because we had struck-out at a few other tourist gift shops that sold your traditional crappy gifts (shot glasses, hoodies, shirts, etc). I'm looking thru the front window and an SUV rolls up and the guys yells, "they're closed, but should be open soon." It was the owner and he came over, unlocked the store and let us in. This place had an amazing selection of liquor and wines. Local and imports. They had a a great selection of crystals, hand crafted soaps, incense, jewelry, hand crafted art and so much more. They had some of the traditional tourist swag, but it was minimal, most of the store is filled with hand cultivated, quality products. . I got my daughter a beautiful rose quartz stone mounted on a stand. My son got a mini hand carved teak chess set (for only $45!!). I got my parents some local infused rum (was hard to decide from the big selection of options; guava, coco, piña, and so many more). Also got the kids some geodes to smash. They looked the same in the outside, but were each completely different on the inside. The owner is a Brooklyn transplant and he's the nicest guy ever. We solicited his opinions and he was a straight shooter, telling us his honest opinions and making great recommendations. He and his wife operate the store and you can feel the love the there. Here my husband received lovely one on one fashion advice as he picked out 2 new shirts. I couldn't believe how many different prints Otto had to offer. My husband said his new shirts were much more comfortable & breathable than anything he had at home- plus he looked so handsome! This is one of three locations, as it turns out we also went to another one, it was a little bigger, located at the mall. Tons of board shorts, t-shirts for both men and women (swimsuits for the women). A small selection of surf boards, that were pretty nice quality. As well as some skateboard stuff. If you're into surf shops, this should be a place you check out. They have a large selection of Playero branded apparel, which is really nice. One thing to keep in mind, prices are a little on the high side. But other than that we had a great experience. Staff was friendly and helped us out with different shoe sizes to try on, and took good care of us the whole time we were there. We'd recommend this location.

The entire time during checkout was silent and I felt as if I was a nuisance. I hope this was just an isolated event because their products are top notch. I hope future interactions with patrons are more positive because I spent $100+ in that place. Patrons should be treated with respect if you want to charge premium prices.
