We had big problems with our home improvement project with Todd Regine and his company Edge…read moreServices. He was recommended by close family, seemed to be an honest and nice guy with a track record of home improvement. The project was a remodel of a master bathroom. It involved demo of the existing one, moving and installing a new custom shower, tile work, moving a window, painting, installing a vanity etc. The demo went well and then it was slowly downhill from there. The shower floor-plan Todd designed did not allow for a traditionally mounted glass door. There was a window to move to make room for the shower and it was not moved to the right place and we were not told until after it was done. The bench in the shower is not square or level and the tile job has broken tiles. The tile floor was not installed properly and over 50% of it has uneven spots, loose tile and broken grout. The paint is not even and showed color variances on edges, the vanity lights are not centered and uneven. There is more but I won't continue as this is too much already. Yes- this is a lot to mention. Todd did not want to accept responsibility for his work and make it right and complete the job. Instead he kept saying we walked on the bathroom floor and its our fault while never addressing all of the other poor work or finishing the job. The communications to discuss fixing the work broke down and at this point because of how his contract reads we have paid for 90% of the project but will now have to hire outside professionals to fix and finish the job.

Scott stated the current floors were white oak while the other bidder stated the floors were red oak. To alleviate our concerns Scott came out to the house, sanded a large square of the floor. He brought several samples of unfinished red and white oak boards. Together we determined the flooring is white oak. The house had 3 different tones of white oak floor. In addition, we had the tile floors in the foyer and kitchen removed and new white oak flooring installed. Our goal was to get all of the floors to a similar tone. This required additional sanding to achieve. Scott finished the floors with 3 coats of Bona HD High Traffic Matte clear coat. It is impossible to determine where the new floors meet the old. The floors are gorgeous. Scott and his crew are true professionals. They showed up on time and worked extra hours to get the job done. Do not hesitate to contact Tamas & Son for any wood floor work you need done.

Michael & co were clear about how long the work would take, showed up when they said they would, and sent us pictures after staining and after the first coat of polyurethane. Their attention to detail really shows, and they did a great job wrapping appliances and smoke detectors too and generally cleaning up after themselves. We had a really great experience working with Orkhan and would definitely recommend him!…read more We first hired Orkhan for a bunch of small repairs around our house, and we were really happy with his work. His quote was very reasonable and, importantly, very detailed, which gave us a lot of confidence from the start. He was patient, polite, responsive, and easy to work with. We also appreciated how transparent he was about material costs and that he provided receipts for everything he purchased. After that, we hired him to upgrade our 100-year-old Art Deco bathroom with a new vanity, mirror, toilet, etc. He did a beautiful job. He was careful with the details, and we're really happy with how it turned out. There was a small issue with the tile alignment, and when we pointed it out, Orkhan responded immediately and came back the very next day to fix it. That kind of responsiveness and willingness to make things right was really appreciated. We also had him finish our garage with LVP flooring. He helped us move appliances around and picked up materials for us from the store. The project went smoothly and he gave us updates with photos while we were out of town. Everything turned out great and the transformation was amazing. Overall, Orkhan is reliable, honest, skilled, and takes pride in his work. We're very happy we found him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great contractor. We'd definitely work with him again!
