Walking in you find a room for the bride to prepare as well as Britty's office. We hadn't realized it yet, but you go down a level to get to the main space which we thought was so unique to 413. Going down in the elevator we had no idea what to expect and we were completely blown away!! There's exposed brick, pipes, color changing interior lights, designated bar space as well as a stage. Plus there's a bathroom downstairs and on the main level, with spots for a gift table and wedding book/favor table. The space holds up to 200, and we ended up having about 196 and it didn't feel tight or as though there was a lack of room. Britt herself is amazing, so full of information about the space and how to have a successful wedding reception. She had great reccomendations for other vendors and we got so many compliments on our wedding!! We used her reccomended bar setup, Dj and even s'mores vendor which all made our day beyond perfect! People came out of the woodwork after our wedding to ask about 413 and how we found so an amazing place! They have chiavari chairs and large tables that hold up to 12 people, and she even gives options for how you want your main table to be! I would have my wedding there over and over and over again! The rooftop photos turned out stunning, our vendors were all reccomended by Britty and were amazing and our whole day was unforgettable! When you visit the website, a few of our pictures were even used to show off 413 and the amazingness of the area!

I recently attended an event at 413 on Wacouta and was very pleased at the experience. Lynne, our…read moreevent planner, helped streamline the process every step of the way, from planning and rehearsing to the execution of the actual event. The space in the Gilbert building in downtown St Paul is intimate, warm, and inviting. Molded tiles adorned the ceiling and a beautiful Tiffany-style light fixture provided glowing illumination and a centerpiece to pull the room together. The room felt small at first glance, but was more than adequate for the 120 people attending the function I was at. The reception hall on the lower level was just as perfect. Everyone mixed and mingled happily while live music played and hors d'oeuvres were served. I was especially fond of the bruschetta we ate and how fresh it tasted. The staff was very accommodating and helpful throughout our event, with the head server asking about timing of serving each course and adjusting for the needs of our group's event. A great time was had by all, due not only to the beautiful event space, but also to the wonderful staff at 413! I'd recommend this venue for your next event

There were several others that also thought that was a great place to enjoy wine and conversation. I chose the red wine flight and my friend did a custom flight. I thought all the wines were delicious, deep red color, robust tastes. We also munched on a cheese tray. It was a good amount for two people. Cheese, fruit, nuts, and crackers created nice combos of flavors and textures. Service was excellent. It was a great place to relax and regenerate after a long bike ride.

We tried a few different flights of wine and flat breads and enjoyed the beautiful view of the vineyard. The place is truly breathtaking, and at the time, they had live music playing outside. Jenna made some very good recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. ::Caution:: I still gave this place 5 stars because this has nothing to do with the service or the quality of the food or location, but we were picturing a nice, calm brunch, sipping on wine, not a Chuck E Cheese experience. Apparently, we were upgraded to the deluxe Chuck E Cheese package and were seated around lots of parents who decided to bring their young kids to a vineyard. The kids were running wild around tables and crying and screaming. Not one parent corrected their kids' behavior and just let them run around like free-range chickens. There were also people complaining that there were no non alcoholic drinks that they wanted at a vineyard. When I went inside there seemed to be no kids indoors. While another group could not control their kids and kept knocking things off the table, including glasses of wine. No one seemed to mind outdoors because most of the people had young kids, so be warned that this may be a possibility, so research your days before you go. Overall, if you remove the kids running wild and crying, the service was fantastic, the wine was good, lots of parking, the ambiance was incredible, and the food was good.

They provided a sandwich buffet where there were lots of fresh sandwich toppings and a variety of breads. A huge highlight was the chicken wild rice soup. Staff were excellent. The room worked well for the presentation, no issues with tech and the room was small enough that no mic was needed. The only thing that was a little annoying was, with the restaurant next door and only folding doors separating us, we could hear some residual noise but not enough to cause issue with the presenter. I liked the vibe here and would like to stay a night and check it out in the future.

The location is a bit off the road yet there are great signs to help you go the right way and a giant dirt parking lot. The food is served in a tiered plate setting and there are options to modify if you have anyone with allergies in your group. I have not met someone who is more understanding, professional, diligent, and calming. We had a large wedding of over 300 people and they all fit wonderfully. We were able to utilize the gorgeous outdoor garden for our wedding ceremony as well as our social hour. I was worried when I looked at the outdoor space, that not all 300+ guests would fit, or that it would be crammed and uncomfortable. However, it exceeded our expectations! The flowers were beautiful, the white gazebo was so pretty against the dark green grass, and bright flowers. The outdoor area, was really beautiful and fit our summer garden themed wedding. We were able to have an outdoor bar in the garden for guests to use and mingle as they walked around and enjoyed the summer evening. With 300+ people, space was very important for us. We needed an space that would fit that many people, but also allow enough room for guests to move around. The last thing we wanted was for them to be crammed in and tripping over chairs to get a drink. The ballroom accommodated them beautifully. The dance floor is HUGEE!!! Something like 2,000 sq feet! But believe me, our guests used it! The dance floor was always filled with people young and old. It was nice to have enough room for everyone to dance around. No one stepping on others feet. Another important aspect to us, was the bars! Of course! We really did not want people to be waiting in long lines to get a beverage. Withrow has two bars, and both were fully staffed, and were able to serve our guests quickly and efficiently. Another great thing about Withrow is that it fits with almost every theme. We chose a summer-garden theme, with a flare. We did Blinged out vases, with LED lights inside, and hydrangeas. We had rose petal and diamond scatter, with black table clothes and white chair covers! It looked fabulous! I also saw pictures of other weddings with many different themes. One with a simple fall centerpiece, another glammed out. The Ballroom can adapt to any theme and blends in perfect to any decor. Overall, Withrow was the perfect venue for us, nothing too fancy or upitty, just a genuinely UNIQUE and historical venue. The best part is that ALL of our guests had a great time, and felt at home. I still don't think I have seen a wedding with more people on the dance floor with smiles on their faces. Any time multiple guests describe your wedding as "Magical" you know you did something right! Thanks Pam for all your help!

She was willing to meet with us before, if I had any questions and was very responsive on emails. We found them on the Knot and WeddingWire and we actually just live up the street from the venue so we knew what it would look like inside. It's such a beautiful setting you hardly have to decorate it all. We obviously brought in some of our own touches, though. They have chair covers and other decorations that you can rent. Duke was the chef and did a great job. Food is obviously a little different on the day of with how much they have to make versus the tasting day, but we received positive comments from all of our guests. We actually rented some of the hotel rooms upstairs too, which anyone who stayed there was super excited about. It's nice to just be able to go right upstairs and not have to transfer to a hotel. The rooms are very unique and were fun to stay in. Serving staff and bartenders were on top of everything! I don't think I can say this enough...Karna is AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!! Built in 1909, it has a certain elegance about it. It is a perfect venue for a small, maybe 30 to 50 people tops, event. Very easy to find, a prestigious location, and lovely grounds. Except for the owner, the staff is like high school kids. A tad on the unprofessional side. I mean, like coming up to my table carrying a bustub and removing plates directly into the tub. Ick. Like a Dennys or something. The food was marginal, I will not accept instant mashed potatoes at my wedding if I ever get married again. Pork was ok, salad was a little wilted. S & P was not on each table, lame. Not much of a choice on the buffet, but I am sure that was due to the choice of the bride and groom. B O T T O M L I N E ..... O K A Y
