I've been on many offshore fishing trips but this was my first bay experience. His boat and bait setup are wonderful -- all you really need to do is show up (AND ON TIME). Due to weather conditions, we didn't catch much but Pierre took us to at least 5 hot spots. His knowledge of Corpus was immense and really helped our Padre stay a success.

When the fish weren't showing up, he kept us moving to try different areas. So, we got a nice tour of Lagunda Madre too. Lots of dolphins both day. Got some great video of three jumping along the boat in tandem. All kinds of birds. A few stingrays were caught we got a close up look at them. So, even if you have someone who doesn't fish they can go as an observer, see lots of wildlife and enjoy the day. Had fun both days and would definitely recommend them.

I called Clem's marina for help finding a last minute half day trip. Within 20 minutes Allen called and agreed to come out on his day off. As we waited for Allen to get his boat in the water, we asked around about him since we didn't get to read many of his reviews. It was evident that we had accidentally lucked into an enormous upgrade...the high level of respect for Allen was consistent with everyone we asked at the marina. On top of all this, there was a heavy rain rolling in and everyone was bringing their boats in...but Allen was still down to fish as long as we were. When we came out on the other side of the storm, we caught our limit of speckled trout and an over-sized red in under 3 hours! Fish with Allen...27 years experience can't go wrong.
