I have significant sensitivities to fragrances and chemicals, which can make furniture shopping challenging. Angelena went above and beyond to help us find solutions that would work for my situation. She listened carefully to my concerns, and even worked with the manufacturer to make special accommodations for my furniture prior to delivery. At every stage, I felt like she genuinely cared about helping us create a home we could enjoy. That level of service is rare these days. Another thing that impressed us is the quality of the furniture itself. So much furniture today looks good in a showroom but is ultimately made from engineered materials that simply don't hold up over time. The pieces we purchased from Coastal are solid wood, beautifully finished, and built to be used and enjoyed for many years. I was told that the rugs were machine hooked. The art work was mostly original acrylic/oil paintings from national and regional artists. The paintings represented various themes from landscapes to still life. I was told that there were some prints for sale, as well. Most of the paintings were unframed. Out of 14 cushions, 12 had seams come apart in at least 2 places. I tried to contact them 3 times to find a solution and never received an answer back. The fabric was a heavy boucle sunbrella and the seams frayed so badly that I doubt the cushions will fit once the seam is brought together enough to secure. Really disappointing!!!
