That was filled with antiques and collectibles she acquired for 40 plus years. My brother and I wanted to find away to get rid of this stuff and make the most amount of money. We thought an "auction" and9 were we wrong. When Bob himself came to the property we asked him if he attracts a large amount of people at his auctions. He said I could expect hundreds of people. When we asked if he sells in bulk or individually, he said individually. When we asked him if we would make any profit since we had to pay $20/hour to use his men who also were profiting out of this sale he said "oh yea". Since he said we could do the auction on site and in one day, we regretfully hired Bob Hagemann to do the auction. We had to use his men at $20/hour to put items in large batches so that it could all sell for a $1 at the auction. While we thought we were going to make money it cost us money. Bob made me get a dumpster, the house cleaned, he made me take down our chandeliers and purchase cheaper fixtures, but the chandeliers sold for the same price as the of the cheap chandeliers I purchased. on the day of the auction, maybe 50 people showed up. They all knew each other. A majority of the items were purchased by Bob and his cronies for huge lots for only $1. They had organized the auction so that it went exactly has they had planned. When the auction began and we saw what was happening which was all my mother's items going for $1, my brother and I began to pull items off the carts. Bob knew he could not stop us. I was so upset that Bob asked me to leave my own property. I told him I would not leave. I was getting yelled at and cussed at by Bob and his cronies that at one point I almost called the police because of the threats of violence. My garage was filled with all the items Bob and his cronies purchased in large lots for $1. And even though he bought up my house for a couple of dollars, on top of that, he still charged me for days of manpower at $20/hour and for nonexistent advertisement. I walked away with a check in the amount of $2300. And this coming from a house that was filled with collectibles by Waterford, Bacharach, sterling, antiques, jewelry, vintage clothing and so much more. Do yourself a favor and do your research. In my opinion he is a criminal that stole my stuff. And if he can do it to me, he will do it to you. STAY AWAY FROM BOB HAGEMANN.
