Fred snaked a camera down the sewer and found the source of our problems: a huge mass of roots at one juncture under the driveway. Along the way, he discovered tree roots invading at every joint in the pipes. We got to see it, as well. A little signal was sent out from his device, so that, once standing on the (gravel) driveway, he could mark the spot where they needed to dig.
