The air conditioning is not working - again! It's not just me in the house, there's a cat, too. Earlier in the hot summer the air condition stopped working. It was 2 days of high heat indoors before a repair person arrived. The air conditiining operated after that repair, until yesterday morning. The indoor temperature was 84 degrees in the late afternoon. If I were an owner in Leisure Village, I'd replace the air conditioner if need be. Multiple breakdowns, and not just this summer, would be untenablle to me. I wouldn't put a lessee through repeated breakdowns. And the rent was raised without informing me. No phone call, no text, no email. No notification at all.i was charged late fees. And to pay rent online costs $99.00!

With that "in-the-trenches" experience, he deeply understands the psychology of a buyer and knows which features of a property will "move the needle" in the specific area your property is located. Most agents I've found only do the bare minimum and only know what they've read in books or watched on Tv. Dave is the real deal. And most importantly he has integrity. I'm writing this review to share my experience with Comfort Real Estate Services, specifically with…read moreKate and BJ, because what happened to my family should never happen to anyone. From the beginning, I trusted their guidance. Kate told me it was "in my best interest" not to have a written lease -- something I now realize left me completely unprotected. I'm not pretending I was perfect; I know I violated the lease by having pets. But when I was told to remove them, I complied immediately, even though it broke my heart. What hurts most is learning now that they already knew the landlord planned to sell the property. If they had been honest with me, I would have made very different choices, and my animals would still be with me. Instead, under their direction, the landlord forced me to remove my animals, raised my rent, demanded additional deposits, and then one week later gave me a 60‑day notice. That sequence of events wasn't just stressful -- it was devastating. I lost over $3,500 trying to follow their instructions, and none of it was necessary. None of it was disclosed. None of it was honest. Then, as if things weren't hard enough, Comfort Real Estate Services withdrew an extra $300 from my rent payment without authorization. That mistake sent my account negative, and because of that, I couldn't buy the things my mom needed for her major surgery. When I reached out for answers, all I got was the excuse that they "deal with third‑party vendors," as if that somehow made the impact on my life acceptable. And even after acknowledging the error, they refused to take responsibility for the financial damages their mistake caused, leaving me to absorb the consequences on my own. And now, because of their actions, my sick mother, my wife, my four‑year‑old, and my three other kids may end up homeless. No family should ever be pushed into that position because of a lack of honesty, transparency, and basic human decency. I understand landlords have the right to sell their property. That was never the issue. The issue is truthfulness and compassion. If Kate or BJ had simply communicated honestly from the beginning, I could have protected myself, my finances, and my family. Instead, I was left blindsided and carrying losses I should never have had to face. My experience with Comfort Real Estate Services has been painful, costly, and deeply disappointing. I'm sharing this so others don't have to go through what I did.
