This company is 100% a fraudulent scam. Anyone leaving a positive review is probably either a bot or paid. I made a one time $5 charge to ask a vet question. I never read or agreed to any subscription. I never received an email from them, a log in or account number nothing. The following month a got a $29 charge to my account. I called and canceled. Next month that account was charged again along with my business account, a card in which I NEVER provided them and I certainly didn't sign up for a second account. I was very clear I never wanted an account with them to begin with. I've spent the past 5 months getting fraudulent charges from them, calling and getting refunded and assured it won't happen again. They trick you to give personal and private information for so called verification purpose, and then ask you to give the credit card information on the pop up form for refundable $1 charge before the service agent can help you. In my case, after the tech guy appearred, another $85 I had to click (I did not). After offering no help at all, I found an additional $55 charge already on my credit card right after the chat was over. I found out later this was a monthly membership fee (without my content, of course). After contacting JustAnswer back and forth (hours of time), I was told that their service is membership only. On June 2nd I called Just Answer for a problem connecting my sound bar and head set to work together with the TV. I was told there was a $5 refundable charge. I gave the agent my credit card and was connected to an alleged technician. Before we started I asked if there are any additional charges and was told he has no access to that information. He gave me instructions of how to accomplish what I was trying to do and guaranteed that it would work. Well, I printed them out and followed step by step . It did not work and I remained with the same problem. I was willing to accept the $5 but when I checked my credit card, they billed my card $40.00, but the charge was still pending. Had I not have checked my credit card, I would have been stuck for an additional $40.00 . That company is extremely unscrupulous and a rip off.
