I ate the salad which was ridiculously good!!! I HIGHLY recommend it! My son and husband both thought they're dishes were good. The wait staff was okay. They weren't overly friendly but were helpful and hospitable. The drinks they offered weren't "fru fru" enough for me lol.

Guys, go to Tesco, and buy some hot dogs and taste them. Notice the texture, the flavour? This was NOT A HOT DOG, but a large pork sausage. Which was overcooked (burnt on ends) and dry as heck. What you call "gourmet" means fancy low fat type of thing which just means dry and tasteless. Unless maybe you are serving reheated ones? I paid almost 6 euros for a sausage, and it was awful. The animal fries, while nice, have a very heavy sauce. Its mean to be Thousand Island, but I really didn't get that from it.. it tasted of queso (melted cheese sauce for nachos) that maybe had a bit of Thousand Island mixed in? Pleasant but "cloying" by the time you get half way done. I probably won't return.

Not mushy as sometimes can happen if it sits too long. This pork was simply amazing. Smokey, moist and perfect. I added some of the BBQ sauce, and it was simply deliscious. Chicken wings - cooked to perfection. Also asked for them to be dry so that we could try the different sauces. So tender and juicy. Mac n' Cheese - sometimes places will have a big pan and will just scoop it out onto the plate. Not here at Smonin' Bones. They make it fressh and put it into a dish, add some extra cheese on top and then broil it. So yummy. I could have eaten a lot more of it. Baked Beans - probably my least favorite of the night. The beans were a little under-done, so they had a little bit of a crunch. But the flavor was good. Keep working on that. Overall a wonderful, delightful surprise.

Smokey flavor, it was great. It came with huge steak fries, I prefer shoestring. The steak was not tender. Had a better steak sandwich at the Morrison for lunch. All in all, I will not be going back nor recommending this place. The wine I ordered never arrived, our water was never refilled. In fact, after the food arrived, we never saw anyone again!! When the check came with an obligatory 12.5% tip I missed it and paid. Once I noticed, I flipped out!! This was the worst service ever!! I double check tipping culture in Ireland before I complain. 10% is good for good service and bad service is ok to leave zero tip. So I asked for it back. They gave me credit for the tip but not the tax on tip. Unimpressed. Won't go again.
