Normally I would be skeptical, but my cousin only trusts the best when it comes to her skin stuff. To get to the point, Larisa gave me a facial and my skin cleared up within 2 days; comparatively speaking, it seemed to be twice as thorough as any super high-end facial that I get in LA. It's been a couple months and I've gotten lazy with my skin care routine, but still no sign of breakouts!!! I don't know what this woman sprinkles in her cream or what facial genius trained her; all I can tell you is that she is remarkable. It's a bit nondescript from the outside, no signage, although the logo is on the door. It's striking and different inside -- lots of black and plants, botanical plant mural on the wall. It seems quite spacious, although I was the only customer (best for last?). I've been looking specifically for dazzle dry manicures around the area, and that's how I found Legen--wait for it--dary, and I booked online. They did reschedule my appointment because the original nail tech couldn't do DD. Gulzat handled my manicure and did a very nice job, we talked about perfumes (Baccarat Rouge, she complimented me), she offered me a drink, changed up the color when I asked for more sparkle, and did a neat and clean job, nice cuticles. The manicure was a bit more compared to the other salons I've been to recently, and my hands were dry (no lotion). There are other beauty services offered at Legen--I'm allergic to--dary, so I might check them out. All jokes aside, I think my manicure at Legendary was nicely done. They typically do very well at match mart and Marianne takes great care in ensuring my nail beds never got compromised during removal. Unfortunately this is not the standard for all salons. Whoever helped me exclusively used a drill, I am assuming because she wanted to save time. I had to tell her multiple times that my nail bed was getting too hot and even jumped in pain. Only once ever did I get a removal service like this elsewhere and I never went back - unfortunately I won't be back at this location either. Two weeks later and my nails are still splitting as the grow up and in incredible pain. In short, It took me weeks and weeks to grow my nails out and now I have to start from square -10. This is hurts like crazy, I told the lady she was drilling too much and she said "that's what she had to do". This is just unacceptable.

It's cute and clean. I came from work with a face full of makeup. She took it off for me and proceeded with the steam, thorough extraction, electro current, dermabrasion, lotions, potions, neck and shoulder massage and viola, I'm gorgeous! It was so relaxing and my face is baby soft and smooth. I loved it. I wish it was longer. I think I was in and out in 50 minutes but I also didn't have a lot of skin issues, thankfully.
