From there you can sort by the availability of each stylist or by the day. You are able to control who does your hair and there is a brief description of the stylist that you can read prior to scheduling. I booked my appointment on Sunday and made it for the next day. Kendra was my stylist and made sure my cut was exactly as I wanted it before leaving. She was pleasant and didn't rush. I was very happy with my results. I also ended up scheduling an appointment for my teenage daughter with a different stylist (Natalya). She cut my daughter's hair just as she asked and even put some waves in it. The salon is on the larger size with many stylists working at once. I know prices of haircuts have gone up, but they seem to charge the same as other salons in the area, if not less. I payed $60 each for our haircuts, and after looking around at other salons, some were charging $70-$80 for the exact same service. I would definitely recommend trying then out if you haven't already. I don't know why it has taken me so many years to try this salon for as many times as I have driven by over the years.

The application of hair dye was messy and washing out my hair was very tense and harsh. The straightening of my hair was rough - and felt like something was scraping my hair verse smoothing it out. Fortunately, the color is nice but the path to get it was not pleasant. Then to get to the end and pay for it was a bit shocking. They always look so flattering to my face and she also gave me a kit for them to keep them clean and beautiful. Then I was looking for extensions and applied for the mirror mirror extensions so they can make sure I was a good candidate and that my hair would work well with the extensions. That's when I met Kitty! She was there every step of the way to make sure that my hair was perfectly curated to me! They made sure that the extensions perfectly matched my hair, which is actually insane because my hair has a lot of natural highlights to it and it literally just looks like my natural hair! When I went to get my extensions, they paid for my parking and bought me whatever I wanted for lunch which was so nice. They had three people working on my hair the whole time I was there and made me feel like a princess. I got to sit and eat my food and enjoy my complementary mimosa and just feel on top of the world! They don't stop until it's perfect, kitty will never let you leave her chair until your hair is absolutely beautiful and exactly how you want it to be. I am so surprised that extensions can feel so much like my own hair, look like my hair and just be so comfortable. I don't even know that they are there. I can style it myself, and I got a whole entire little backpack with a bunch of huge sized samples and a whole list on how to take care of my extensions. I also can call and message anytime and they are so happy to help with any questions I have and it just feels like I'm part of a family there. Kitty runs the most amazing salon I have ever been to and since I am an exotic dancer, her, and her team have helped me make so much more money. This weekend , I made an appointment at River City Salon get my hair cut. I had a style in mind for…read moremy long, long hair and I took a photo of a style that I felt would work well with my hair. I wanted a little bit shorter cut, a longer layered bob cut. I did not want a short cut, I made this clear at least twice. The cut had to be longer because I need to be able to pull my hair up when I work. It is imperative that I be able to pull my hair back. My stylist was very nice and talkative, but she just cut and cut and cut and I ended up with a cut that doesn't even touch my collarbones. I can't pull it back in an attractive way. This has made it impossible for me to look my best in a front facing job. It was cut at least three inches shorter than what I asked for and what I expected. I've had this problem at your salon before. One of the things that strikes me about hairstylists , and this is why I do not ever go to stylists unless I cannot avoid it... They don't listen! Now , I am going to be forced to try and find a way within 24 hours to fix this mess before I fly to the remote location where I'll be working this summer. Maybe I'll have to get a wig that I can wear so I can pull my hair back on shift. I know my hair will grow, but I didn't come in to receive (and pay $45 for) a cut that I "have to grow into." I am a 70 year old woman! PLEASE PLEASE ask your customers questions. Analyze their hair texture, keep them involved in the cutting process, and above all, LISTEN!!!. We like to keep our hair straight and sleek but could never find anyone skilled at flattening curls while keeping shine and softness. We tried countless salons and even tried our luck at DryBar as that is what they are known for. But no one could ever seem to take out the poof and we were always left disappointed. Then we met James at Do Crew Salon. My hair has never been so soft and sleek; I did not think it was possible. My daughter's hair is smooth and looks like she was born with straight hair; he did what we were starting to loose faith was even possible. The atmosphere is upscale but also so comfortable and peaceful. James is easy to talk to, takes great care to give you exactly what you ask for, and I felt comfortable and trusted him right off. He immediately knew how to fix the gold tint to my daughter's chunky highlights and corrected the color for her seamlessly. On the other hand, I am in the midst of growing out my natural grey and He was able to provide tips and products to help along the way. My daughter can't wait for a calico color with him next and we will both be weekly customers as long as him and Do Crew Salon will have us because he was able to do with our very curly hair what no one else in town has been able to! Also, the Sea Change Amethyst Oil is a game changer; my hair stays sleek and smooth all week and it never makes it greasy like other oils did. The last thing I want to say is I have always been someone who swung between hating and just tolerating my hair. Since James, I can actually say I love my hair for the first time in my life.
