Heading into retirement I wanted to have a nice floor in my garage because the concrete is pitted…read moreand stained. After talking with three different companies I hired Doug. The pro from using this company is that they send out a large trailer and a few guys come out and they empty out your garage in order to complete the work. That's where the good ends. As soon as the floor was done I was unhappy. He didn't coat the front lip of the garage but he left the concrete raw so it is now staining and starting to fall apart because there's no protection. The expansion joints are all a mess. They didn't clean them out And now, as the picture show, it looks like crap and it's flaking up all over the place. The floor is so rough that if you fell on it it would scrape your skin right off your body but Doug doesn't seem to think that that's a problem. It's so rough that it's eating alive mops brooms and squeegees that I'm trying to use to clean the floor. He doesn't see that is a problem either. I have had two other companies come out to look at this and both of them said that the flakes in this floor look like recycled flakes. Doesn't look at all like the samples I was shown that convinced me to have the floor done. The top coating is near nonexistent in places and heavily pooled in others. I would not let this company anywhere near your property. I am trying some other avenues to get Mr. Wagoner to take care of this. I am hoping I don't have to file suit in small claims to get him to honor his warranty.

I asked Randy which hardwood flooring is the most durable? He told me that ebony, cherry, live oak, or bamboo are the most durable choices. These extremely hard woods (and wood-like bamboo) wear well and are more resistant to minor damage than other options. Randy and his crew are wonderful! Randy is easy to deal with and really cares about his customers. Keystone Hardwood has been in operation for several years and they are always upgrading their flooring materials.

Ross Restoration charged us almost double what they quoted us. They never gave us any indication…read morethat the project was going over budget and there was no work change request or anything to show extra work was needed. I understand a small variance between quote and final invoice but this goes beyond that. They refused to negotiate the final invoice. Terrible service, do not recommend. The owner responded saying my problem is with insurance. It is not. My insurance is treating me fairly and paying the claim. My problem is with the bad faith estimate that was provided to me by Ross Restoration. I think his response shows their lack of ownership of when they make mistakes in their work. There are regulations that are supposed to prevent surprise billing and it is reasonable that consumers shouldn't expect more than a 10% difference between estimate and final bill. His response is a great example of why I do not recommend them.
