UPDATE: Unfortunately, after initially giving Olathe Ford & RV a great review, I feel obligated to…read moreupdate it based on what happened after our purchase. During the walkthrough, we were given several incorrect instructions, including the wrong app for operating the camper and being told we could never run all three A/C units while connected to 50-amp power. We were also told a "couch cover" had been found for us, only to later find out it was simply a bedsheet. About 2 1/2 weeks after purchasing our 2018 Keystone Fuzion 371, I brought it back because the jacks were dropping and I discovered significant inside tire wear. I also had battery issues, including two batteries that began smoking and had to be replaced. The camper stayed at the dealership for roughly 1 - 1 1/2 months. When I picked it up, I was told they had waited until their warranty period ended so my extended warranty would cover the repairs; otherwise, I would have been charged $200/hour. I was also told the tire wear happened because of the 100 miles I had driven it and that my two batteries were "underpowered," even though the previous owner had upgraded the factory single-battery setup to two batteries. Six months later, after only two camping trips, we have spent over $10,000 on repairs. We had a failing garage A/C, hydraulic leaks, jacks continuing to drop, a severely rotted slide-out subfloor, leaking hoses, and awnings that were moldy and barely functioning. A second repair shop inspected the camper and found evidence that some of these problems had been developing for quite some time. They specifically found a hydraulic hose that had been leaking and determined the hydraulic pump the dealership said we needed was not the problem. They also found that the slide-out floor had likely been wet for a long time. When I spoke with a manager at Olathe Ford & RV, I was told that the floor could have gotten wet once and rotted within weeks, that they "walk the floor" looking for soft spots, and that the couch had simply been covering the damaged area. I was also told that nothing happened while the camper was on their lot. After spending $10,000+ in repairs within six months and couple camp outs, I have a very hard time believing everything was properly inspected and checked as we were assured it was. My camper is also store out of the elements. I originally said I would always bring my camper back to them. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope others considering purchasing a used camper from them have a thorough independent inspection done before signing anything. Olather Ford and RV center says this isn't true: how long does a sub floor of a 2018 keystone fuzion take to rot out if its only been in the rain twice for less then 3 hours total?how long does a sub floor of a 2018 keystone fuzion take to rot out if its only been in the rain twice for less then 3 hours total? It is highly unlikely that your subfloor is rotting or will rot from being exposed to rain only twice for less than 3 hours total. Wood rot requires prolonged, continuous moisture (usually weeks or months) combined with warm temperatures and poor ventilation for fungi to grow and destroy the wood fibers. * Short Duration: A total of six hours or less of exposure does not give water enough time to deeply penetrate, trap itself, and kickstart the rotting process. * Material Resilience: A 2018 Keystone Fuzion typically utilizes a DynaSpan seamless floor decking (an engineered wood product) or structured plywood, which is manufactured with water-resistant resins designed to handle minor construction and weather exposure. * Surface vs. Deep Core: While the wood might have gotten wet on the surface, it takes sustained soaking to reach the core moisture levels (above 20%) required for wood-decay fungi to wake up. My family and I aren't liars and we believe in karma and always try to be up front and honest and if I believe the slightest that this was my fault I would own up to it. I would suggest recording your visits so it doesn't turn into a he said she said situation like mine. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying from this place.
