This matter has been resolved to our satisfaction very quickly after my post, and we are…read moresatisfied. Thank you for reaching out. Camping World is on my mind. Hopefully I can unload here and maybe even help someone not to make the same mistake I did. My issue is with Camping World, We bought a new 26' Cougar 26RKE and traded our Imagine in on it. Not sure yet if that was wise. Purchase went well, but that is where it ends. Camping World of Columbia were fine falling all over us with the purchase process, however that's where the marriage stops and the divorce starts. Every time I've ever been on the receiving end of service it's like they feed you bull until you get totally fed up. Then it's like ignore you. Warranty work should not take weeks. We have a new camper and the slide came out most of the way and then dropped about 6". Used a floor jack to raise it and get it back it. Service said that they weren't busy so bring it right up and they get us right in. That was the first lie. Wife called week later, service writer hadn't heard, wife said can you check, well they'll let me know, That's not what she asked, can you check? This isn't the first time we've went through trouble with this service department, we have had many rvs in the past years and seems like this is a regular pattern, they have too many in sales that need pushed out the door to take care of their warranty work. You see the almighty buck speaks loader. I've said it many times no more, don't know when I'm going to get it through my head that they suck. So please take my advice look for some place else to buy. Blue Compass, RV Unlimited, anywhere but Camping World Columbia.

The associate I spoke to on the phone informed me that it was acceptable to come in and dump and was uncertain about the availability of freshwater. The dump was straightforward. While some water spigots were malfunctioning, we were able to overcome this issue with the assistance of a 50-foot hose. With such reliable and convenient service, I would undoubtedly do business with them in the future.

If I could give a minus one I would. This is the absolute worst customer service and service I've…read moreever had in my life due to rudeness and incompetence of Meagan, customer service rep, and her father, Mark the owner. Jay, the technician was not rude, but he was incompetent, because did not diagnose and fix the DC power only component. I requested the service call because I had no power AC or DC. The charge for remote service was $100 to show up + labor, which was billed at $85 for the electric and hooking up water and sewer and lighting the water heater. Jay plugged in the power cord, and for some reason it worked. He went inside and said the fuse box was OK, AC and DC was working. He left without checking if I had power on DC only. A few minutes later the campground owner asked if my trailer now worked on DC only. I unplugged the power cord and had nothing. I called the shop and no one accepted responsibility for the slight. Meagan said that Jay only does what I tell him to do. I replied that I told her what I wanted when I agreed to a service call, and I'm not a technician, so I don't know what to tell him. I took his word for it. In a short manner and totally without care for my needs, she said that he would not be able to come back for two weeks. The shop is only 20 min. from the campground. I had a buyer five hours away coming the next day, and had to sell the trailer for $500 less due to the electric not working. Once the conversation doesn't go just the way Meagan wants, she starts getting condescending and curt. The campground owner said that's the way she is. Daddy backs her up. He even scolded me in a subsequent phone call, and told me to pay my bill three times, of which I never said i wouldn't, because I know they have me over a barrel, and I have to pay despite their incompetence; plus, unlike that crew, I'm a man of honor and integrity, and I pay bills in a timely manner to that end. I would not recommend this dysfunctional, family-run business for anything. There are others in the area, a bit further, but worth the extra time and money for some common respect and decency.
