It has been one of the perfect aircraft to fly the company missions I am asked to fly. The biggest reason the company decided to purchase, and will again, is the fantastic service after purchase. Whether it's sending an avionics part overnight to a small airport in Oklahoma to IFR recertifications and making sure I understood simple monthly G1000 software updates, I know I have a support team. They have always gone beyond expectations to work around our flight schedule. They help us realize we are part of the VBA family and they are there for us. Hats off to Gary Conover for the hours he spent, in 104° heat, to get our IFR recertification today so I could fly tomorrow. He is just one member of the fantastic, VBA team that will always be willing to take care of our Stationair. Well done!

What followed was 33 days of "we can't pay you until the title arrives" -- even though my lender confirmed in writing on 7/30 that the loan was paid in full. I'm an Army veteran and I handled this the right way: calls, patience, follow-ups, numerous conversations with their manager Mike. The day I said I'd had enough, his position was still that I could go to the DMV myself or wait another three weeks. Dismissive from start to finish. On 8/27 I showed up in person with the lender's paid-in-full letter. Only then did they hand over my check -- dated 7/27, two days after the sale. It existed nearly the whole time they were telling me they couldn't pay. The car had already been resold. (Keep-or-cut sentence:) Nothing in the bill of sale I signed conditions payment on the title. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this
