First and…read moreforemost, I loved the aesthetic of the store, with the bright yellow umbrellas, posters, and peanut-shaped signs on the front of the store, and especially the old-school "Greetings from Columbia S.C." mural on one of the sides of the store. When I walked inside, I saw the classic yellow bags of popcorn, but also so many different flavors of popcorn that I had never heard of before. While I don't think that I would personally like most of them, they were still a lot of fun to look at. I also loved the cool pieces of artwork on the walls, which were definitely a blast from the past! If I were a kid, I would have loved the bulk candy aisle, and if I hadn't just eaten, I would've also loved to get a hot dog! I did get a bag of boiled peanuts for a family member, who said that they were great. Finally, the two (2) staff members on duty were very nice and helpful, readily offered their assistance, and were kind enough to chat with me for a few minutes about the store. All-in-all, Cromer's P-Nuts was awesome, I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll assuredly be back in the future!

I knew this place was small from a past visit but ultimately they do have low priced mums compared to Walmart. Their pumpkins on the other hand are $12 for one compared to $3 at Walmart. If you're unlucky that State farmers market is closed this is a more limited alternative.

Note: the admission to the play area is different from the fee to strawberry pick. They also offer other produce and jams for sale in the strawberry picking section of the farm. Definitely pick up a strawberry lollipop for a light but sweet treat. It's a farm so there are bugs. Remember to carry some bug spray for the kids and there is ample seating if a member of your party does not want to go out into the field. Note. There are outdoor bathroom potty services only so be prepared.

The one bit of feedback that I'd like to offer is I wish employees were more cognizant of how unsanitary it is to handle the register (with gloves on), and then go and handle the cookies. There were a couple of times that I've observed different employees pulling up my online order on the device (while wearing gloves), and then going to build my box. That, in and of itself isn't bad. But what they're doing is using the spatula to put the cookies in that same hand that was on the device, and then putting the cookies in the box. This probably isn't a big deal for most people...I get it. But I'm incredibly squeamish, and a germaphobe. Plus, customers handle that device, so it would stand to reason that employees should either change gloves or just only use the spatula to fulfill each order...or both! I didn't want to say anything to the employees in question, because I didn't want to be THAT person. So, I'm hoping my feedback will get passed along, and some changes will come of it. For that, I docked them one star. Aside from that, I do recommend this place. The cookies are huge (I can eat off of one over the course of a couple of days), and if you didn't know, they offer new flavors every week. Ordering online is fast and easy, and it's a nice treat every once in a while.
