I also even have my sons (16 & 20) get their hair cut by her because she is the only stylist I would recommend. Jenni Huse of Just Jenni Style did my hair and make up for my wedding, as well as for some of my bridesmaids and my mom. She works full time at the Bungalow Salon in Santa Rosa (my mom goes there for hair, this is how we found her!) but she also has a freelance business doing hair and make up for weddings, so I wanted to start her a new page since this service is especially wonderful and I think it will be helpful to all the Sonoma brides in the world! Jenni has a lot of experience - she has worked for Benefit and the Powder Room, and she has some AMAZING skills (that I definitely do not have) with hair and make up. She can do anything, whether you want a really glamorous look or you want something a little more natural (I did kind of the middle!). She is very knowledgeable about make up and has every product under the sun and knows all the important tricks of the trade. Also very importantly, she is JUST AS AMAZING at doing hair! I changed my hair look a week before the wedding, even though at our mock I had wanted my hair up I decided that I wanted it half up a week before the wedding, she was so kind and flexible about it and did a perfect job even though we hadn't done the run through with this style. It also wasnt a big curly mess like you got when you did your hair for prom back in the day - it was classic and slightly tousled and beautiful falling loose waves, and a little volume on the top. And it was sprayed and stayed and in place! I felt so beautiful on the day and I credit that to Jenni Huse. I also should say that she is good under pressure, my photographer showed up and was standing over her while she was putting on my fake lashes (which was very annoying to say the least) but Jenni was calm as a cucumber and did not let that pressure allow her to mess up my wedding look. I am so thankful to her because I was very overwhelmed on that day and it was nice to just "let it go" and trust that she would make me beautiful. I think she would work well with all types of people for this reason - she is very professional and calm and has the skills to make everyone gorgeous. Love her! read more

Jenni is beyond amazing! I would highly recommend her. She had some great ideas about hair and makeup when I wasn't sure in what direction to go with. She looked at the photos I sent and listened to me and did a fabulous job. My hair is very thin and I was worried it would be difficult to work with, but Jenni made it look amazing. She was responsive and quick to my texts and answered all of my questions. She has this amazing aura that you feel at ease and very comfortable around her presense. I was stressed and uncomfortable thru out the morning because we had no service and it was a destination wedding and to find a great hair stylist was a mission but when she started working on my hair and makeup she made me feel wonderful and stress free! I would recommend her to any bride, especially those who are completely clueless about hair and makeup like yours truly... it will make your life so much easier ;) I'm so happy to have had her on my wedding day.
