Reasonable prices and great quality of work! I liked that they texted me day of pickup to let me know what time my clothes would be ready.

Only One Tailoring - Wedding gown

I cannot thank Only One Tailoring ENOUGH for saving the day for me! I bought a dress online from…read moreanother company in two different sizes just in case one didn't fit. I waited 3 months for it. It was my Dream Dress! When I got it and put them on both didn't fit, while one was close. I used to be extremely overweight so I've never owned something this beautiful. My heart dropped when it wouldnt zip up. I blindfolded my Fiancé so he could help me zip it up since all my friends dont live in TN. That Night I called 4 "commercial" bridal shops. Every single one said there was nothing they could do since my Wedding was a mere 32 days away. I felt all hope was lost. The next day I gave Only One Tailoring a call-HOPING they could help. I told them my dress was VERY close to fitting. They were gracious enough to get me in the next day, less than 24 hours from my phone call. Im not going to lie. I had no hope. Im on a strict budget and I know altering the dress would be twice what I paid for my gown. As soon as I walked in, the ladies were sooo inviting and welcoming. I was put in a room to try my dress on and walk out so my dress could be inspected. As soon as I walked our, my Tailor said, "Oh great you got the Zipper up!" I was like..No I wish lol. She advised me the dress is super close to closing and it just needed a second hand and womena touch. She grabbed an associate and 1,2,3 it was zipped up. I almost CRIED! I still couldn't breathe lol. But a simple couple pounds will be fine. She asked if I wanted any additional alterations. I am a big chested girl and the cups were big. She immediately tightened my straps and hellllo boobs..she was beautiful. I did ask how much it would be to get the front hemmed a little and it was out of my range. But some heels will fix that! I DID ask how much to open up the dress a little and rush service. It was over my budget since my dress wasnt that expensive. She told me a simple claw hook and an extra set of hands would work. She quoted me $14 and I said let's do it! I told her I can pick it up whenever since I had to head to work. She informed me she was going to do it right then and there, to sit tight and it would be 15 minutes. It was less than 15 minutes and POOF my Wedding Dress nightmare was fixed! I left a fat tip and thanked her so much. I didnt have a chance to try on a wedding dress, with a whole crew, and see it in a big mirror. I CRIED. I loved my dress even more. I will NOT stop PRAISING Only One Tailoring! They saved the day for this Bride! I hardly write reviews but if I could give 10 stars I would! I will be praising them all over Social Media, including my Mother and Fiancé. Thank you sooo soooo much! You really dont know how much I appreciate Only One Tailoring! [Will insert Wedding dress Photos when the Day comes]

I will keep her in mind for future projects. Clearly she's running a great business because she's booked out for several months, so my advice is to ask for your quote at least 6 months in advance of when you need the item. Jessica is very transparent about pricing and timelines. User-friendly software clearly displays the total line-by-line, and the total aligns well with other similar quotes I received. Jessica charges fitting fees to compensate for her time so that you can cross alterations asks off your list and bring down your total if you're happy with initial or minor changes. She is budget-conscious and wants to give you the best result for the lowest price. Jessica has a philosophy that she doesn't make decisions about your alterations but rather equips you with information for you to decide what aligns with your priorities. Jessica seems conscious and supportive of all body types and levels of modesty, for example when she explained options for potential bust cup alterations. Jessica helped me understand the alterations industry more broadly, including common pitfalls and bustle types. She gave business-related tips like getting quotes in writing and understanding fitting fees/guarantees for exclusive work prior to going to a business. Her personal choice is to vet clients over the phone first to ensure a good fit prior to bringing your garment to her. Others may have you in for a fitting before quoting or exchange just over email. I learned so much from her over one phone call and loved her genuine communication style. I initially got her name from a local seamstress based on the type of garment I had. I'm not surprised Jessica has a great local reputation among peers in the Nashville area!

Anyways, for some anniversaries and weddings, I have gone to Costco and bought the highest thread count sheets available and I've taken them here to get embroidered! I have had the names and date embroidered or monogramed on the sheet fold-over-part and/or on the pillow cases. It's special, custom made, and the person receiving the gift feels like you really took the extra time and effort to do this. I just hope they stay together and not tear the nice sheets apart during the separation battle... Cost is super cheap!!!! I paid a little over $20! Quick service! You just go in, place your order, pick your thread, font, and a few days later go pick it up! I've had everybody that I have given this gift to compliment me and ask me where I ordered them from because they want to do the same! ......I guess they DID like their gift....(or were they lying to me??!). They embroider anything you can stick a needle into practically! I had church bags embroidered here also! :)

He immediately emailed and we went back and forth about my interest in making hats for a charity sporting clays event. I submitted my logo design and within a day he had a mockup digitized and sewn up. He then sent me the catalog info to select a hat design. We did all this without meeting. I went over to the shop...busy place full of very friendly folks and finalized my selections. The hats arrived the next day and the finished products were ready the day after that. I could not be happier about the service, ate speed, and the quality of the work. Hopefully the hats will make me shoot better. :-) Thanks Gray

On multiple garments Ive waited on repairs only to come pick them up at the scheduled time and find that they were not complete. This happened with some surgical cuffs on a jacket I needed shortened. When I dropped it off there was no mention that this was not something they could do. I wait for the alterations to be done to come back and see that the sleeve seems were open and I was told they couldn't do the work. It was something they easily could have mentioned the first time I was there. I was refunded my money on this. Most recently was a ridiculous series of going to get shoulders fixed on a sport jacket that were out of whack from the web based manufacturer. I probably went back and forth to Ericka's 6-8 times on this jacket, ordered shoulder pads as directed, and ultimately was told they could not fix the jacket, weeks later. Two other alterations tailors told me on the spot that they couldn't fix the jacket. That's all I can ask for with respect to an unfixable problem. Tell me up front so I don't waste my time and money. Ericka's did offer to split the cost of a new jacket after it had been hurried back together with thread that doesn't match. I will not waste my time here anymore. If they tell you a date your garment will be ready, add a week or two to that and be prepared to be let down.
