We didn't hear the message till after we set up and were horrified to find she had abandoned the pets despite the repeated messages on her cell and after discovering her home phone trying to reason with her while she yelled at me saying it was my problem. My dog can't play with other dogs so I liked that he got to do something fun each day. One time I picked him up and he was covered in pee - which tells me they were not giving him enough chances to go to the bathroom. Not to mention, he was supposed to receive an exit bath which clearly didn't happen. I had to throw out everything and immediately come home and bathe him. They also forgot to send home his medication. I spoke with the owner, he apologized and offered a free exit bath next time. Since they still had his meds I decided to give it one more chance. I dropped him off for boarding and when I went to pick him up no one was at the front desk so I waited. I could hear someone screaming in the back and loud banging noises. Finally she came up to the front desk sweating and looking disgruntled (like she was just yelling at dogs). She saw my face of shock and she put on a smile and was overly nice and complimenting me. She went to go get my dog and when she was in the back she AGAIN started yelling and banging on something telling the dogs to "shut up!!!" I got my dog and left asap. She is not the type of person you want to leave your dog around - her anger towards them was scary. Dogs bark - that's just how it goes. There was nothing to make me believe the dogs were doing anything wrong other than barking because she was primarily yelling at them to shut up and be quiet (as if that would help). DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE! You have no idea how they are being treated and if she would do that knowing someone was standing right on the other side of the door - what would she do when no one is watching?

Went to Lange because they are one of the only exotic pet vets in the area. They were able to get…read moreus an appt. on short notice. Front desk staff and vet assistants were friendly and helpful. The tiny exam/waiting room we were put in didn't seem very clean and could've used some cosmetic work. We seemed to get mixed information between two vets, one exotic vet and one surgeon. Ended up being there several hours; had some long wait times between visits to give us updates. The surgeon pitched us options (expensive I'm sure) about hospital care, either at Lange or UT, and multiple home care options that would require multiple medications, but apparently wasn't going to give us the honest info about our pet's condition until we asked what the survival chances were. Sadly our baby was in bad shape and didn't make it. Don't know if I'd visit Lange again in the future if I found a better option, not that they provided bad service, just didn't feel as comfortable with them due to mixed messages and what felt like an effort to get more money or give false hope.
